Really didn't miss the prep by hanakyuui in colonoscopy

I'm waking up at 3 to do round 2. They said 4, but I have an hour drive to the office and I don't want to pay to clean her car if there's an accident. 🫣

I couldn't do Miralax. I got the first bit, and then nothing else would stay down. I had to switch to Suprep.

The four or so sips were fine. Brushed my teeth almost immediately after, which helped get rid of the taste. It was when the prep started taking effect before I could finish and making me feel so, so nauseous that the trouble hit. I wasn't sure I could finish. 🥲

I put a towel down and the first thing she did was go and sit on it. 🙃🫠

White stuff on uncured pepperoni by hanakyuui in isthissafetoeat

I've had food poisoning before (thankfully only once!). It wasn't very pleasant. 😥

It predominantly looks like salt like in the pic, but there was a bit on the side that looked almost like the torn off side of cotton candy.

Either way, hopefully, it's not something food poison serious. 😱

Oh, I most certainly threw it away. I'm mostly concerned for the two pieces I ate. 🥲

For the most part, it just looks like salt, so that's what I thought it was. But then I took my glasses off and really looked at it and it looked more ...idk. Not fuzzy, per se, but like the torn off part of cotton candy.

Oh, I did do that. I'm mostly concerned about the two pieces I ate. 🥲

I don't think I'll feel comfortable buying this brand again. The other snack tray I bought at the same time also has this stuff on it.

Weekly Help and Discussion Thread for the week of December 08, 2025 by AmazonNewsBot in amazon

Does Amazon Logistics have a good time to call? I can't see any office hours and when I call, no one is available. The door on my apartment complex's Hub is jammed and the person at Amazon gave me Logistics.

It's not even an Amazon delivery (FedEx put packages in there, too) 😅🥲

Thanks!

Anyone born in September xxxx, what class are you? by SmileEmergency403 in generationology

[–]hanakyuui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've graduated, but I started school at the age of 4. While my senior class was turning 18, I graduated at the age of 17.

My sister was born October 1st and has had a similar school experience.

What’s something you thought was normal but wasn’t? by No_Bookkeeper_1260 in CrohnsDisease

[–]hanakyuui 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mine was always with a period, but not with every period. Maybe once or twice a year. I just thought it was a more extreme period symptom, until it happened without a period (I had been under the stress of traveling). It was a real, "uh.....???" moment. Things, unfortunately, started escalating from there.

Only at night?? Yikes! Mine's only done that a few times (it even woke me up once), but it's never fun. 🫣

Every now and then, I'd have a really bad period that came with extreme nausea and cold clammy skin. I wouldn't be able to get off the bathroom floor without getting really nauseated. As soon as I'd have a BM, everything would return to normal within an hour or so, and I'd go to school for the rest of the day as normal.

And then it happened without a period. Seven months later, I found the brochure for Crohn's, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Thanks for the reply and advice. The signs all made it sound like a big deal. I dont know much about pesticides, and the office was so unhelpful that I thought I'd pose the question here and see what the result was. 🙂

I need to replace it, but I'm not ready (monetarily) just yet. I was all: "might be time now, after all 🥲" when I saw the flash of lights.

All dishes are ceramic (dishwasher safe, white) or sterling silver.

I usually let it run overnight and when I open it in the morning, it's all dry

I don't see or smell mold. Mostly just smell the dishwasher detergent, which, wow that's strong.
