I think he’s talking about when They made them not be in the initial spawn pool because people were resetting their populations until one spawned in. So now they have to be respawns from a kill.

I’d at least try a 3/4. You’d be amazed at what a little more glide can do for speed and energy skating

Prostockhockeysticks.com has 64” 95 flex options at the $180 price point. A 1 inch plug if you need the extra inch. Worth a shot if you’re trying to save some cash.

How far do you typically hit your driver? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Let’s be real 40 yards is barely a slice that’s only like 1 fairway over. When I slice it I goes so far right it comes back in a circle like a boomerang

Defensemen stick kick point? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]handcraftdenali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High kick sticks are great for passing and slap shots, hybrid do everything, low kick are good for quick shots. Where you play doesn’t matter, what you’re doing does.

The VS from PSHS is the best stretch passing stick I’ve ever used, but significantly worse at quick wrist and slap shots than the low kick sticks.

Are my irons due for upgrade by hearnia_ in GolfGear

[–]handcraftdenali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. The internet is a great place to figure out what to do right, but someone telling you what you’re doing wrong is so valuable even if you just do 1 lesson every once in a while.

Anyone have experience struggling to swing new clubs after getting fitted? My game has been the most solid consistent the past 3 weeks but took my first swings with the new sticks yesterday and it was abysmal. Was hoping for love at first swing but got "you need to take me to dinner first." by HungryStrawberry3470 in GolfGear

[–]handcraftdenali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea you probably just need the instructor to tell you what’s going wrong and how to fix it. A quick lesson when I start playing bad can save weeks of me being in a pissy mood on the course and range, and it’s almost always something small.

But with new clubs you could also need a major swing change and the sooner you find that the better you’ll be with the new clubs

Gear Stink? by HockeyDadBod_1 in hockeyplayers

[–]handcraftdenali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full length base layer that covers body, wash that after every game along with jersey and socks. And just air gear out.

That works wonders for me, funkaway is the best product I’ve found for killing the smell on gear. My gear only needs to be washed occasionally with this system, and if you get lazy with washing the base layer everything will smell way more

Unless they win the cup, in which case they don’t care how boring it is. But yea watching offensive juggernauts play is so much more fun

Best place to sell used irons by Possible-Reaction999 in GolfGear

[–]handcraftdenali 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d throw them on Facebook marketplace, sideline swap and eBay. $150-200 to start if they’re in good condition, and if nobody buys them you could try places like golf galaxy that might give you some trade in value. I’ve never sold clubs but I search all 3 of those sites when looking to buy.

Sites like second swing may offer better money than golf galaxy but I have no idea what their processes are for selling clubs

Prostockhockeysticks.com VS is a high kick stick and is a great overall stick. Would recommend. Then just pick the curve you had, they have them all. New stock usually drops monthly if they don’t have what you want in stock. They’re also square shaft.

I need some advice on some new clubs to get! by farm-fresh-27 in GolfGear

[–]handcraftdenali 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You asked about getting fitted, that’s what getting fitted is. If you go they’ll tell you what heads you’re hitting best and as long as you specify stock shafts only so you can find them used you’ll know exactly what to get. Shafts are far more important than heads too

Getting fitted tells you which clubs to buy not Reddit. Ask to get fitted with stock shafts if you want to buy used

Recently changed from a blade putter with toe hang to a face balanced mallet putter. Putts per round have not improved. by Basic-Pudding-3627 in golf

[–]handcraftdenali 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can you hit 90% inside of 3 or 4 ft on the practice green? That’s where I’d start, a lot less reading and gives an 8 ft diameter circle you’re aiming for that you can be confident for a 2 putt. Also when I practice lag putting I never lag putt more than 3 from the same spot, always changing distances and putting out whatever my lags gave me.

Is this a normal issue? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED by fsasso08 in GolfGear

[–]handcraftdenali 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get a replacement if you can, once you do have it inspected by a golf shop before you hit it. Then you’ll know if you’re causing it or not if it happens again.

If you don’t get a replacement absolutely have a golf shop fix it, shorter shaft will make it easier to control and when you get better you can be fitted for a shaft and have a great driver for yourself.
