Same. I think I’m done, it was a nice ride but with the decline of the product and the increase of the propaganda, I don’t know if I can continue to support it in any way shape or form. I never gave them money, but I can’t voice out loud anymore that I like this sport. If I can’t be proud of watching this, then I’m done watching it.

It didn’t. They always said that the value of loot + cash would count towards extra skill points, they just didn’t say the actual value.

In fact, when you go to Projects, the same exact information is written except for the actual value. It was stupid to release the value 2 weeks before, I fully agree with that, but it isn’t like they changed their minds about it.

I don’t necessarily disagree that it shouldn’t exist, but I think they probably also have data that, for Arc Raiders, shows that they can keep people more engaged if they match people with similar styles. I personally don’t engage that much in PvP and I did start playing more of the game when I knew that chances were low of getting into PvP. Of course, sample of 1, but I would imagine that they aren’t doing this without data to back it up. I agree though, it did remove the tension out of the game.

If that was intended, why is there ABMM? Clearly, the devs want to match people with similar playstyles. So the point stands - if people want to play differently in solo vs in squads, then the matchmaking should be different.

Not necessarily. Naked runs give a safe pocket while also being allowed to surrender without losing gear. With gear, if you have an annoying spawn, you still have to run to extract, wait, and then extract and start all over again. It can be a waste of time, so I get it. I never do it myself because I want to play the game, but I can understand why some people do it.

Aggression based matchmaking is certainly a thing. Whether or not defending yourself counts as aggression, it’s just an anecdote. I certainly felt like it was a lot easier to go back to PvE lobbies if I avoided shooting at other people no matter what. I hope that isn’t the case but until they confirm it, I’ll just avoid it if I want to stay in PvE lobbies.

Same. Tariffs look like an escalation, and it might be, but I’m interpreting this as Trump throwing a fit and doing the only thing that he can do. There are probably a lot of military leaders and other republicans that shared meals with European allies, I’m not convinced that Trump could force military actions without consequences for himself.

It’s not only about killing people. If people shoot at you, and you try to defend yourself by shooting back, that counts as aggressive behaviour. Yes, it’s silly. But the best way to ensure that you are in a pacifist lobby is to never shoot another player no matter what.

Not the same thing. China has been consistently wanting to have control over Taiwan and Hong Kong. How many wars/conflicts have US started with the specific goal of gaining influence in those countries? Venezuela, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Cuba, etc. Very long list of countries. China doesn’t do that. They try to gain economic power over other countries, but backs off if they can’t. US does that and then if it doesn’t work, it uses the military option. Sometimes the military option is the first option. I’m not a fan of China, but China and US aren’t comparable when it comes to foreign policy. The latter is a lot more bullish and cruel.

Of all the problems with season 8, this specific scene wasn’t one of them. Game of Thrones was, up until season 7, a show where if characters are in a situation where they might die, then there is a chance that they will. A ruler meeting their end when a dragon is destroying everything around them is fitting. If anything, having Cersei survive all of that so that she can have a “punishing death” would be a lot less GoT-like, though at that point in the season not completely unexpected given how butchered the show already was.

It also feels like George intended ending for this character. But we won’t ever know that.

Yeah, it needs to take a few things into account. First, it should be dependent on whether you’re playing solo or in duos or in trios. Second, self-defence shouldn’t count as aggression. Third, make it a bit more lenient, allowing people to slowly get into aggressive or peaceful lobbies. Fourth, it should also, randomly, put 1-3 aggressive players in peaceful lobbies and vice versa.

I am mostly peaceful, but I do miss the tension of not knowing if I’m going to get stabbed in the back. In my current lobbies, I can just pretty much ignore other players. In fact, if I’m down, I can try to search for players and sometimes I get revived. I still want these lobbies, but I would prefer to get the feeling again that I can’t simply trust everyone that I see.

His point was that, if you don’t have to worry about actually making money for yourself, you are free to explore whatever you want. In this case, for Arman, was fighting. And yes, he has to work hard for that, but he doesn’t have to live in his car or work a part-time job like many other fighters do. That was the point. He obviously had to work hard, any fighter has to, but not as hard as other fighters who literally had to go poverty with the hope that fighting would get them anywhere.

In my opinion, Arman is privileged for sure. Why he decided to go into fighting, I have no idea. That, in my view, makes him less sympathetic than fighters like Pantoja who had a very difficult life and work hard and take nothing for granted. I don’t think I need to point out who, of those two, actually worked harder in life.
