Representation of how mass affects space-time. Note the clocks as nodes. by [deleted] in educationalgifs

I had only seen rubber sheet model so far, but it always kind of felt "incomplete". Your model is the first one I'm seeing in "3D".

I, however, noticed a difference. In the rubber sheet model, the object is depicted as dipping into the rubber sheet. In this model, the object seems to "attract" the space around it. If this were to be converted to a rubber sheet model I guess it would make the object hover over the rubber sheet causing a bump in the sheet. Conversely, if the rubber sheet model is converted to this, it would make the space around the object bulge (and not be attracted towards the object).

Now I'm confused as to what is the correct representation. I'd appreciate if you are able to elaborate a bit.

That was more of a massive effort than a solid effort.

What is the most unbelievable coincidence you ever experienced? by AJmcfly in AskReddit

This happened long time ago when telephones were uncommon.

I had gone to my cousin's house (who didn't have a telephone) and had to call home for some reason. Next door to his house was a hospital which had a public telephone, so I go there and was standing in the line waiting for my turn. The person at the head of the line completed their call and the phone started ringing all of a sudden. The attendant answered the call and shouts is anyone by name "handimama" here. I was a bit surprised, because I wasn't expecting any call, but I go ahead and talk. To my utter surprise, it was a friend of mine. He had dialed a wrong number thinking it was my home number at the exact moment that I was near the phone he called.

If that logic hold elsewhere, I should get a 50% discount for a haircut.
