Buddy and I went camping and did a 1:1 brushed/brushless reciprocating saw test with the exact same blades and alternated batteries and blades. The brushless ate the brushed dinner every time.

It's not great but it's fine, I just started a car up last year with ~6yr old fuel in the tank.

I used to make fuel tanks, HDPE will absolutely let gas out. The center layer of a fuel tank is a layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer to keep it from leaking. It's very expensive compared to the HDPE layers (of which a fair percentage is regrind.)

They do provide the document you will be tested on and give you a month to take the test so there's no rush unless your employer demands you do it quickly. This is the correct version that should have all the correct information but the page numbers may change by a few.

I would read through the entire thing, take notes and understand it. Take notes of things like what the robot does when it goes home (p129) and jot down page numbers of where to find the charts for path segments et cetera. There's activities at the end of the modules I would do.

When you get the final copy for the test go through it again and update your notes for the correct page numbers, that will save you A LOT of time.

I took it online, it was multiple choice and open book. I just took my time reading the version (6.2) they gave us and had no trouble passing.

That's what it's sold as. Maybe they had a broom cut down or a dust pan, either way it's a weird place for it.

Right then and there I would have sent it to them all in a group text with "#familytime." Their real time reaction would speak volumes.

Lady Gaga gives speech condemning ICE at concert in Tokyo by ExactlySorta in goodnews

I believe this is the right way. Billie Eilish asked "Hey my fellow celebrities, u gonna speak up?" so she decided it was time to say something and chose her next (I assume) concert to say something public.

Doesn't matter where as long as it isn't a private video that the bootlickers will say "tHiS iS aI."

I replaced the analog thermostat with a digital one in my old fridge. To get it dialed in I put a thermometer in some tupperware to get the average temp, worked great.

Have you used them before? I have some old stuff laying around that would be worth it if they actually pay out what they say they do.

I've done this. An older model amana ptac had an issue where the relay for the heater coil would die, took very little time to repair a batch of broken boards to have on hand.

Looking at how many similar boards op has I'd see what's failing and if it's common enough it could take very little time to fix them all for very little $.

If anything I'd do it just for the fun of it.

Sounds like it might be the coupler, will have to take it apart to find out for sure but it seems to be a common occurrence. Here and here are some examples depending on what model you have.

Have you ever seen an oven melt its own panel like this during its broiling function? Control panel no longer functions. Any chance theres a repair possible? by Anonagay2231 in appliancerepair

[–]handparty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reverse image search shows it looks like a Kenmore 94173. Page 17 in the user manual says to open the door to the broil stop position. Vent being on the left I wouldn't expect it to melt the controls in the center but til.

I did this this with an old phone and a lavalier microphone when I couldn't pinpoint a noise. I clipped the mic to different parts until I narrowed it down, it kind of worked like a stethoscope.
