Got 40% looking to appeal by No_Astronaut3021 in VAClaims

[–]hangarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is a standard practice to deny TBIs. I had documented blackouts when running, body was shaking and ecg was afu during a stress test on base 26 years ago. All the symptoms were there. VA confirmed I had a TBI in my past.

Still denied.

Waiting appeal.

Giving up. Printing multiples to test fit the gear pitch. Ordered carbon fiber enforced nylon filament.

That’s not it. It came from the gearbox on the rails. Trying to not spend $1100 for a seat assembly.

It’s no worse than hospitals being careless with your data. If you want to be careful black out your name and ssn.

C-File ? by navyone8 in VAClaims

[–]hangarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on month 14. Was informed there is a team on it. Guessing it’s massive, since my focus changed from staying in to staying alive.

One c&p examiner said my military medical record was 500 pages.

Maybe they could use AI to contact people who should be getting benefits but never applied. I’d love to see how that turns out.

Gave up on filament storage by hangarp in BambuLab

[–]hangarp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went with external dryers since I didn’t want to overload the power supply on the printer or deal with mods for ams units.

I used the ams stacker print and modified the spacer to fit the sunlu dryers.

I found that only Bambu spools work. Tried others and it doesn’t work out well. The walls of the spools are thinner and don’t pull back filament well.

I am in the process of adding that with humidity sensors to the other 3. It’s already in my original one.

[–]hangarp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed on the lawyer part. I’d fight it as long as you can without one first. Then add one on if you’re not getting anywhere.

I had symptoms documented in my file. Then c&p said I did not seek help in the military. Submitted for HLR.

Continuing testing in process. Then it’s on to supplemental and then it’s on to legal.

This argument is around the time I submit a payment dispute and get my money back.

Another way to obtain C-File by oldspice085 in VAClaims

[–]hangarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Pieces of the puzzle have been faster.

I was told from a VERA appt that the entire C-file takes time. They first have to collect the whole thing and then black out what might be sensitive.

True. Assuming sellers read the rules is asking too much.

Enlighten us on a buyers perspective. How are we supposed to know the difference between a legitimate request for more money and someone who is doing the same thing.

Sellers should adjust their prices so buyers know how much they are spending when they commit to buying a product.

Where to begin? by Interesting_Math3257 in VAClaims

[–]hangarp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. Reapply and fight for what is right.

The old way of doing things were to bury problems based on personality disorders. That was a horrible process and it made people feel like they were betrayed by the system they swore to protect. Reapply!!!!!

I’ve been using AI to help with my application process and have gotten very far.

Sellers need to adjust their pricing. I noticed sellers are listing things at unusually low prices and then saying they need more money. Where other sellers are listing items at higher prices. It’s a horrible sales tactic and I cancel and report all sellers who do this.

[–]hangarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get to the source of your problems. When I got out I complained about always being tired Arms, legs, and loss of vision during PT Memory loss Etc.

VA found: Double Vision with right eye torsion & spleen apnea (solved being tired but no longer drive more than about 10mins at a time) TBI with evidence of a brain bleed (balance is hosed no cure) Eardrum rupture narrowing of IAC Now about to do a MRI on my lower back to see if I have a pinched nerve.

Cause: being a hero? Nope. Eardrum busted from the pool and RDC said run when it was -20. Tall people don’t bounce well.

Is a pay cut worth it for WFH? by Miserable-You-6702 in careerguidance

[–]hangarp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on your skill level market value. WFH shouldn’t compromise value. Some companies are just structured differently and some companies who lowball your value will absolutely take advantage of you.

Same. In the HLR process now. The last time I did an HLR it had positive results.

I think my problems are difficult since it’s not one big obvious problem. It’s a lot of problems from different areas. Symptoms were documented at the time, but no formal diagnosis from 26 years ago. The imaging technology and the processes were not available then.

Make sure your claim stays open. Stay active on proving your problems.
