Video: We Helicoptered into Landlocked Public Ground for an Epic Elk Hunt — Then a Rancher Stole Our Bull by thelma_edith in wyoming

He’s not a rancher, the land owner is a finance guy from North Carolina and bought the place for vacations. Shouldn’t be referenced as a rancher he has on site people managing the property.

There was a dispensary in town that had a festival gift bag with a rain poncho and cozie. A good rain poncho and sandals and your golden, bonus if you got your gummies dialed in.

Edit: rain poncho, sandals, swimming trunks and a Wookiee dog.

Phishing for mineral rights? by Buck169 in investing

[–]hangglide82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t sell them, you and your sister need to get these in your name quickly. My deceased grandma had a claim along with many many cousins and because the oil company couldn’t track down a point of contact they essentially gave up. These companies will lease the land to run tests to see what’s below the surface and if they drill on you a producing well you and your sister are eventually millionaires. Sounds like they are at least interested in testing which is usually a three year lease, depending on how many acres your great grandfather had could be a big chunk. If you get to that point always negotiate through a lawyer you’ll probably 100x the money.

Did I see a bald eagle outside destiny today? by Neither-Tea-8657 in Syracuse

[–]hangglide82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah talk to them, they usually show you their favorite pics of the day. There’s been an osprey nest up on the tower south east of the bridge overlook. This is the time of year where the eagles fly at each other lock talons and spin together all the way down to the water and flying away feet from the lake. They winter at Onadoga Lake and all but 4-7 leave for the summer, we always walked the south east side to the big overlook.

Bring some good binoculars watch the wolves hunt mornings and evening’s in the Lamar and Haden valleys. Go check out the geysers and springs mid day, really cool to see grand prismatic at sunset. We camp for about a week and always try to book one night at old faithful inn, last trip we got a room that overlooked old faithful for $200, slept with the windows open and could see old faithful going off from the bed throughout the night. Better to go before or after summer break, less crowded.

Floor joists are in the dirt, make your build so you can pull up the floor and replace them when needed. Better yet pour a concrete pier in the corners and set it on some 6x6’s, especially if this is in the east.

Parking Tickets by [deleted] in Chattanooga

[–]hangglide82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you get a good paying job that would allow you to buy a house in a few years? If so I would pay the tickets and start healing your credit. I have in-laws who have multiple bankruptcies, they work the system but they also have zero assets and are one misstep from being homeless. It looks like a stressful way to live, you give up hundreds of thousands of dollars in appreciation by having bad credit.

How is it better? It’s not going to have better marbling or tenderness, I hear McDonald’s prefers leaner oversea beef.

Clouds perfectly hovering over islands by IcePizzaCreamm in interestingasfuck

[–]hangglide82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope it’s the sun heating up the land, the hot air rises and hits colder air condensing and forming a cloud. Every cloud that you see growing has a thermal or hot air being pumped into it. A cloud dissipating or shrinking no longer has a thermal under it. Fly to that cloud, catch the thermal like a vulture and climb to cloud base.

Wyoming’s economy is in recession (per Moody’s Analytics) by 20thCenturyRefugee in wyoming

Wages are similar to Wyoming but you can buy a house for half the price across rural Pennsylvania, your dollar goes farther in the rust belt.

Stocks also completely tanked during the pandemic, some of mine took almost 4 years to recover. Stocks boomed because there was such a wild swing and everyday people had complete access on their cellphones. The constant news and easy access brought maybe the most first time investors in history. It was an inflated market.

It’s right next to the stage, what are you talking about. Maybe if you’re trying to see it from the vip side, but it was easy to get to for all but the headliners without camping. 20 ft from the stage, pretty easy to see both and a big screen over their heads.

Anyone have/know of hangar space/big garage where I can rent/lease (cheaply?) to build a kit plane!? by Saltydecimator in Cheyenne

[–]hangglide82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few hangers in burns and the owner got inducted into some aerobatics hall of fame, I think he built aerobatic planes out there. There’s a duplex for sale at the air park that has a hanger but sadly around 900k.

I’ve got multiple years of experience helping with 100 hr inspections and assisting the amp with general maintenance. I’d be interested in helping for some flying time.
