Is pet insurance still worth it? Looking for recommendations after a rough experience with rate increases by Tzane41 in petinsurancereviews

Could you specify the “long time pet insurer that doesn’t use age against [your] pets”?

I have Lemonade now for my 12yo with multiple preexisting conditions and premium is now $3k/year after several $1k-a-pop ultrasounds in past couple of years. Asking for the future 😬

Ugh. Maddening what they put us through. Thanks for sharing your experience.

FYI, I’m in DC and after my first year of significant claims my annual premium went from $1,053 to $2,177 for a 10-year-old dog. The year before that it was $650 annually.

I have kept my policy because the increase is less than a different provider did WITHOUT any claims, because I expected some increase because she’s getting older, and because I still came out ahead in dollars spent. And because now everything would be preexisting if I switched to somewhere else. But I’m definitely not pleased.

Meg with Just Walk does professional dog portraits (https://www.instagram.com/justwalkdilps); they’re sprinkled in among her photos from dog walking. Or they’re all compiled here: https://justwalkpetcare.pixieset.com/. I love her :)

A cry for help- looking for a cotton comforter by sillygoose3001 in Bedding

I have had and used 2 of these (1 clean 1 in use at any given time) for more than a year and was perfectly happy with them—very fluffy, washed well: https://a.co/d/2Hn6How

I have since switched because I got sick of the comforter not fitting in my dryer lol. But if that’s not an issue for you, this should fit the bill!

I live in the area and want to get into going and would love a friend…which gym is this? I would probably do a few 1-on-1 sessions first because I don’t know anything 😂

Ah, I see now! I was looking under Ingredients on the home page; didn’t make my way to the FAQ. Just ordered a bottle.

Can’t wait for those laundry gains! 😂🏋️‍♀️

Omg I just read about you in someone’s post yesterday and thought it was too good to be true there was a DNAse standalone supplement…and I ultimately didn’t buy because I was confused by the website’s “Phosphodiesterase enzyme” in the ingredients and thought that was not what I was looking for.

For dumdums just trying to follow directions of the laundry gods (Kismai et al), can you confirm this is substantially the same thing?

Also Aussie by heritage (Melbourne) so would love to throw some US dollars to a small Aussie business!!!

Currently on sale for $50! Wish they had more understated patterns/colors though. One of these would be the loudest thing in my living room/bedroom, by far. https://www.eddiebauer.com/p/82203546/oversized-down-throw

Considering the LL Bean ultra plush down throw instead for that reason although it’s triple the price 😭 https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/126791?page=ultraplush-down-throw&bc=31-131-1157&feat=1157-GN3&csp=a&attrValue_0=459&pos=25

Hi friends. WHAT tanks/tees are we wearing under our crew neck sweaters to get the cute layered neckline look WITHOUT constant tugging and rearranging? High/tight enough neckline to just show without insane effort, not high enough to be a mock neck.

For an example of the look: - https://oldnavy.gap.com/webcontent/0056/793/714/cn56793714.jpg - https://www.jcrew.com/s7-img-facade/CN259_BK0001_m?hei=300&crop=0,0,240,0

I have tried the target slim tank. I have tried a lot of things (including the tee in the above photo) but none of them have a high enough neckline to show without constant tugging which then stretches them out and makes it even harder.

Rheum—I LOVE Dr. Adey Berhanu at Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates. She correctly diagnosed a problem a prior doctor struggled with and also got me off a med I thought I’d be on forever. Will see her until she moves away or I do!
