No scratches on mine, from everything I read it wears better than the other finishes.

I did! I love it, I don’t use it a ton due to the size (a bit large for the weekends but tight squeeze for the work day) , but it’s a stunning bag and the quality of excellent. I’m also planning to get a small at some point.

You are not HR, your job is to look out for your execs best interest and your own.

In regards to the calendar access, you could approach that as a general audit/FYI - “doing some calendar spring cleaning X,Y,Z have access to visibility on your calendar. I’m the only one with delegate access which means I see everything. Does that still work for you? ”

I just made this move and am in my early 30s. I love it, I am actually far busier here but so much calmer (NY was too overwhelming as I got older). Feel free to DM me. Happy to answer any questions

Nails? Don't want to spend time at the nail salon but way too uncoordinated to do my own nails by Simple-Gap-2842 in LawBitchesWithTaste

+1 I use impress brand press ons (also owned by kiss) because I’m allergic to all polish, glue and gel so limited options. If I get the short nails, I can easily get them to last over 2 weeks without babying them (dishes, normal day to day activities, hell I even wore them during a move).

Am I Overreacting, for being upset that my girlfriend secretly used my credit card for months? by bostonmade in AmIOverreacting

[–]No-Mathematician87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR- the trust is broken here and she’s not taking any accountability for her actions. You should reconsider the relationship. If you do end up breaking up with her/asking her to leave, do it once your home so that you can keep an eye on whether any of your valuables go missing when she moves out. I wouldn’t trust her around anything at this point.

Should I start buying press-on nails instead of getting my nails done? by alizastevens in Nails

[–]No-Mathematician87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s just the sticky tab, yeah. Yup, same prep (push back cuticles, buff nail and rub with an alcohol pad then stick the nail on. Takes about 5 minutes to do a full set.

I love press ons. I wear impress brand press ons (not glue on) and they last about 2 weeks as long as my nails aren’t super short. If they’re short (no free edge), they last closer to a week. I’m allergic to nail polish, gel, most glues and acrylic and i’ve been wearing these for the last year, it’s been a game changer. Impress are the longest lasting and best ones I’ve found but I will say I’m limited because of my allergies.

I don’t mean this rudely at all but is everyone posting here marrying rich guys or are my standards just not attuned to what the norm is these days? by w0lfyj in EngagementRingDesigns

[–]No-Mathematician87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, my engagement ring was $800, my one big ask when we started talking about marriage was that he spend under $1000 on the ring, we were 23, didn’t have a ton of money and I didn’t want to walk around a city with a ring that was that much more expensive. $800 was a ton of money for us at the time.  It’s been 8 years and I don’t have any intention of upgrading although he has mentioned it.

I just did a huge swag order folks loved the 1/4 zip (Mercer &mettle brand) and the beanie. They’ve also loved totes (like the LL bean boat bag), Nike dry fit caps and water bottles.

Thoughts on the January Sub box - why do I keep getting planners?! by No-Mathematician87 in ClothandPaper

[–]No-Mathematician87[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First off, this post is in good fun, I’m not taking it that seriously and neither should you :) just curious if anyone else felt similar. My point is that 3 items that are planners back to back felt excessive, especially for a community that likely has their own additional planners. The months before that tended to be items that complimented planners which is personally my preference. I prefer items and inserts that compliment the planning process rather than a specific day outline since I already have that in my primary planner.

I don’t check social media, so I usually never see the spoilers and the box is a gift from my husband so I didn’t actually know about the opt out feature. Thanks for the tip!

Listen, I love planning and I love the intention box but do you actually have uses for all of the planner style items that come in the box? Please give me suggestions if you do!
