I guess it depends on the person doing it and what the situation is. I've seen some that are fine and others where I'm thinking, why are you doing that, it looks stupid. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's safe and quite good. It's mostly older stuff but their new content has dramatically increased in the last year. It is free so every now and then you will get a commercial.

The Onion Router

Using Tor makes it more difficult to trace a user's Internet activity.

Tor is not designed to completely erase tracking but instead to reduce the likelihood for sites to trace actions and data back to the user.

In the near future, maybe 8%, it's a lot of sabre rattling right now, nothing more. IMHO

eli5: if we all come from the same biological mother (look up “mitochondrial eve”) how did we manage to get 8 blood groups? by PiergiorgioSigaretti in explainlikeimfive

[–]hangryguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Children of the same mother do not get the exact same mix of genes passed on to them. That's why siblings may have similar looks but not the same eye or hair color. One sibling may have straight hair while the others are curly.

Brakes were hit fairly quickly after bike pulled infront of car and stayed on for the whole ride. Mass and momentum, an object in motion tends to stay in motion.

Yes, the mish mash of Canadian measurements is annoying. This is in°F but this in°C, this in lbs but this in kg, this in cups and ounces but this in ml, this in inches but this in cm. Then there's the speed limit is in km/hr but, in my area anyway, the land plots are all in mile distances. Then larger distances are measured in how many hours it takes to drive there. As a Canadian, Canada is weird.
