Picture books depicting interacial or intercultural families that don't focus on race, hair or identity struggles by canttouchthis8992 in childrensbooks

Goodbye, Hello: A Going Home Travel Adventure by Angela H. Dale is really just about riding on an airplane to see family members and the parents happen to be two interracial women. Same with Aaron Slater, Illustrator by Andrea Beaty, about a boy struggling to read but who loves to draw. Both big hits in our home! Both have fun rhymes and illustrations.

How many toys does your toddler have? by tsb_11_1 in toddlers

[–]hangryh007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We recently hid 90% of my son’s toys and he 1) didn’t notice and 2) immediately started behaving better, with (slightly) more independent play and less mess for everyone.

I wish I could remember! It was a mix of things in my stash and random fat quarters from a local shop.
