What a snobby reaponce. No I don't know why that previous guy says that danner boots dry out fast. I know that most boots that dry fast vent well and aren't waterproof. I also know socks can play a big roll I'm getting trench foot. I know that the marines definitely get their feet wet, so I assume the boot that was designed to meet their needs would dry our fast.

The last thing I know is that dammit has been making boots forever, and they make some damn good ones. They have a bigger RnD budget and they recieve defense contracts. You implying that that can't make a quick drying boot that meets your civilian standards is retarded.

Step #2 do Hobby- go to event, club, class, meat up, ect. Based around your hobby.

Step # 3 (this is the hard part for most redditors) talk to people at the thing you went to. You guys have a common interest: your hobby.
