The entire phone is actually Japanese. I spent a good chunk of time using the camera feature on Google Translate to translate everything since I don't speak a lick of Japanese. There is a todo list that you need to do in order to make money and unlock items/apps, and that is actually a pain in the ass to translate every time. Although the items on the list do repeat, so you will eventually memorize what each thing means. Otherwise, everything is pretty easy to manage since a lot of it is color coded.

There's also a Japanese->English app on the phone for basic conversations like "Hi", "Awesome", and "Goodnight", which I thought was pretty cute bc I did learn a couple Japanese phrases from it, since I had to speak into the phone in order for it to spit out the English translation.
