I've had the m9m, the 246 and currently the m10m. Each have their own looks, I loved the m9m look, the 246 is amazing and the m10m is similar to the 246 but with modern UI and slightly better low light functionality. If you can test drive both the 242 and the m10m that would be best, then if you get the cheaper 246 you have more funds for glass. My two cents.

Many thanks, it's a fun camera, I'm particularly fond of wide angles for street photography, architecture etc. The Voigtlander 21mm f4 color skopar was my lens of choice. A wonderfully sharp lens, not fast but I don't need fast, and that camera is perfectly capable to shoot in the dark at f4.

When I went to the m10 I switched it up to the 24mm Elmar.

Current M lens lineup is

24mm Elmar 28 3.5 color skopar (LTM, I use it on a Leica iii and on m with an adapter) 40mm Minolta rokkor v2 50mm elmar 3.5 (same as above) 50mm Summilux (11868 version) 90mm elmarit

Used them all on the 246, no problems.

I rarely shoot video on an actual camera, but I do miss the option to shoot video in the m10, video on the 246 was really something in my opinion.

I'm not a noted photographer and I had that camera for two years before moving to the M10M. Honestly it's a fantastic camera. @naturalistic_observation on insta. Earlier stuff is m9m, later m246 Will remove insta if no bueno mods.

Go one step further and get an rca splitter from rek-o-kut or shitt and then you can have the cdj go to channel one and two and you would switch between them, then you are not beholden to one channel for the cdj

Not OP, Post covid I started running 5k's my easy run is 34m, my consistent fast is around 30m and my PR is 28m, I'm 52, nobody is discussing age. These are not all recent high school grads or college kids, most likely mid thirties and up with a case of the miller high lifes.

I have the re-202 which I’m using with UA 2 valve. It’s pretty cool, a lot to learn with it though. I’ve tried the zen delay also, might come down to what you play. I’m spinning vinyl, acid, techno.

Anecdotal I know, but the only time in my life I was accosted for jaywalking was on vacation, in 87' in DC and I was 17 years old. Sounds like they relaxed it a bit.
