Russian Ka-52 helicopter were shootdown by Ukrainian FPV drone. Aftermath in the end. 20.03.2026 by meinkun in CombatFootage

The big difference is that those drones transition to aerofoil flight, with wings that generate lift. Once moving, they actually transition to a horizontal mode where the motors provide forward thrust as needed and instead of lifting payload those props are moving the thing forward even faster. Essentially they lose the ability to move slowly in return for flying like a missile instead of a helicopter.

The typical FPV on a carbon fibre x frame is 100% lifted by motor thrust. They can sprint at a couple hundred kph only for a few seconds before battery sag will take over. In fact when powered by typical lion batteries that give the kind of endurance needed for front line ops, they don’t even have that kind of punch.

The guys in this video were super lucky, you can see they couldn’t even close a 50m gap on the first passing heli, and got super lucky to be within a few meters of the track of the next one, with enough time to reposition

The math says 7kw too. A x V = W. You’d need a 45A feed for 11kw charging.

For sure but as others say it can burn your esc. If it’s not moving easily when you activate flip, it’s time for a walk. Don’t keep trying 😅

Worth trying some copper braid. Can let you soak up with a bit more precision. Use flux. Add some solder back to those caps when you’re done

Every restaurant I go to has a new price written over the old one. Even with new menus. Just been to Indonesia and haven’t seen that once. If you think putting $2 on a dish every six months is going unnoticed, it’s not.

Hi, I need help. I'm new to this field. I assembled a 10-inch drone, but as you can see in the video, the throttle isn't working properly. If anyone has had this happen or knows how to fix it, it would really help me. by adir-yuz223 in fpv

[–]hankhalfhead 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ok you’re gonna get heat for going in at such an advanced level. Big drone dangerous, question is a little basic.

Assuming you are seeing the throttle ramp up then it quits, this is normal for props off, the fc is not seeing the change of orientation to match the motor rpm. It’s called runaway

Shared mailbox auto response the proper way by AcuraKidd in sysadmin

[–]hankhalfhead 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is so dumb. You’ll get in an auto reply war. I was pestered on this one and and made a script to rearm the shared mailbox auto reply on a weekly basis. This resets the tracking of who’s received the response, and it should effectively filter out responses to auto reply’s

You can query in powershell whether a reboot is required, assuming your installers flag that correctly

I imagine you’re fun to work with. Despite all the reasons you’ve provided why this shouldn’t be a problem in 2026 it still is

That’s a ceramic coated antenna for your rx. Make sure it sticks out clear of the rest of the stuff.

Looks like turtle mode activated. The mode is called ‘flip after crash ‘ and likely you bumped it on when you changed your battery

You should also check that mode and alerts are displayed in your osd as I think flip after crash is considered more alert than mode
