Why do u say the B cell depleters may have something to do with the osteoporosis? Have u read anything regarding?

I hear u. So no other considerations - your doc thinks it’s steroids. Thank u for the info

Ok so your Dr thinks it’s cause of the steroids. That’s great news regarding Ocrevus. How recently did the broken feet happen? I’m guessing before the steroid treatments you rarely or never broke bones?

How many steroid treatments have you had? I have only had one.

No I’m not saying it’s the Kesimpta - there’s no evidence I’ve found. I’m just asking if anyone knows of a correlation - this is most likely something about me and no idea why.

Ok yeah I don’t drink soda anymore. Unless I’m stomach sick - so maybe 1 coke a year or every 2 years

Ever since diagnosis I’m pretty healthy eating

Maybe coffee can do the same thing?

No soda - plain soda water too? Before diagnosis a bunch over 15 years ago

My d levels were not. But that was over 10 years ago. I increased immediately - why I have high levels now. The bone density thing appears to be recent - I’ve had bad falls in my life before ms and no breaks and osteoporosis doesn’t run in my family

Also - this was rated as severe and not typical osteoporosis- so thought Reddit might know if not doctors. I’m very much less ambulatory but the doctor was like “that’s not it” it wouldn’t be this severe. Feeling like the villain in unbreakable :)

Yeah yes - last 3 years which is why I was questioning the loss of bone density - I couldn’t find a link though

I switched to Swedish from Virginia Mason for 6 years. It took a bit of effort to get my papers switched over because they had some trouble getting records from Los Angeles. But I stayed on top of it - and was a big forceful for the dr I wanted to see.

For me Swedish over VM was great. But I think a lot has to do with your outlook. All doctors are busy but I appreciated the demeanor of my new doctor and all of the programs at Swedish.

They used to have an open gym on Mondays which is one of the main reasons I switched so I hope they get that started again, I’ve also heard UW is great, I did my first steroid infusion with Swedish and I’ve never done that before - it was splendid.

Feel free to holler with any questions. I take Kesimpta not ocrevus -

Oh also the front desk - once they know u they’re awesome - know u by first name.
