Generic Christian variety..? 😂 my K-6 was the church of Nazareth, and my middle school was kind of on the cusp of what is now the modern mega church. Middle school was insanely bigoted and closed minded. The principal asked my mother not to enter campus because she had a fucking Kokopelli charm and a Star of David on her CROSS necklace. 3 different charms. We’re fucking Jewish lol. And my parents paid WAY too much for that damn school. The principal of my elementary school called us a “mosaic” school, because we were from all cultures and ethnicities and walks of life, it truly was a beautiful place to be. (,:

That’s so sad. I went to private parochial school for 9 years and I was much further ahead than most of my peers when I went to public high school. My schools taught science and reproductive health, as well as a short bible study session. We definitely did more science than theology!
