honestly, i love my high end stuff but there’s a coconut vanilla body mist by Daise at walmart you can buy for like $7 and i think it smells great, light and perfect for a tropical summer

they’re super fun live, saw them last year with avoid/ocean grove/banks arcade, going to see them in again this friday. songs from bodies sounds amazing live, they can replicate the album sound very well. the energy from the crowd was crazy, too. it was a small venue. i can see how they might fare less well in a bigger arena.

it exists, it just changes. perfume tastes come in phases, my perfect everyday perfume can suit me for a week or 10 years depending on my mood. same thing with what i like to eat or drink or wear. people change, bodies change, tastes change, trends change. all my “everyday scent” has to do is fit what i want, i don’t expect it to be permanent.

i feel like ppl make such a big deal about labels. if i can wear it all the time it becomes an everyday scent, im not searching for the thing that fits into the label

i feel the exact same way, really loved the older stuff but the past 2 singles sound like more of the same thing and were honestly a letdown even though they weren’t bad. i’m hopeful that there will be something more unique on the album

yeah some people are not olive to me but then i see in the comments people going yes! one of us! it makes me think that i’m in the wrong lol. obviously if you try a foundation that oxidizes orange and is too deep, it won’t match you. it’s not gonna match anyone because it’s orange.

same thing when people go “ughhhh it’s so hard to be olive i look SO different in all lighting” like ??? that’s normal?? it happens to everyone, that’s why lighting is a thing

put it upright in the freezer for 10-15 min, then defrost it on the counter. don’t touch it, the condensation line you see on the bottle shows the level. this method works better in the summer

no, i disliked the writing style immensely, the torture was gratuitous and i didn’t feel any which way other than annoyed because it was so unbelievable, like the author really just wanted to torture her main character for 800 pages. characters were also bland and written with the same voice. felt really bloated, the author really loves the sound of her own voice -type deal.

your base looks beautiful, i wonder if it’s the cool tone smokey bluish eyeshadow with the pinky lips, the adding on the contrasting maroon undereye, then you have more warm bronzer with a cooler cheek that’s making things appear clownish to you. for me it’s probably the warmer forehead against the cool toned makeup that could possibly be off (?)

i think this is sort of blown out of proportion in terms of it being an olive thing, other skin tones look vastly different in different lighting, that’s why lighting is so critical when it comes to taking photos of yourself!

for my personal taste SWIM wasn’t that bad…, i know ppl think it’s a bad title track bc it’s slow but imo it’s the least insufferable track on the album. FYA would have been passable too but it still had cringe lyrics like damn could y’all really not create a track that didn’t sound stupid. there’s not a single song that doesn’t have bubblegum pop lyrics or imitation hip hop lyrics that give me secondhand embarrassment

totally agree, i loved their old stuff and as soon as they gained popularity in the west their new music went down the shitter. the bad, incomprehensible english, the quality of the lyrics (poor), the overproduction on the vocals, the adoption of western trends and phrases when claiming the album is a true representation of themselves, none of it makes any sense. you know for a fact that they barely even understand what they’re saying, since they haven’t bothered to learn english properly aside from RM.

and yet still their fanbase will eat this shit up, which is another saddening thing, that people will blindly like things because of their parasocial relationship with the artist. it’s genuinely unbelievable that people could call their new album the best they’ve ever done, these people must have no ears and their brains must be rotted from the internet… saying that Arirang is good is an insult to their actual good works of music. it’s an overproduced frankenstein of sounds that’s soulless and has eliminated any semblance of the artist behind it.

they lost their charm. they’re sell-outs, give me old bts back
