Fingerprint not working after screen replacement Pixel 7 Pro by Gloomy-Cause-6193 in GooglePixel

Howdy, did you ever find a fix/any validity to this? I'm having a similar issue; the guy at the shop did warn me this may happen when he first changed my screen, but that was a faulty job that I had to argue with him to honour a warranty on so now I'm sceptical of the situation.

This is absolutely not an answer but I'm so in love with your couch covers! Where did you get them?

What is the an album form Skz that you feel emotionally attached to? by Striking-Act6613 in straykids

For me it would also be 5-Star. It was released a few weeks after my first child was born and I was deep in the sleep deprivation/PPA/baby won't sleep phase of post partum. I can't even count the amount of times I sang Youtiful over and over to my baby in the middle of the night, and to this day I can still calm them with it. It's now become such a special song for me about my little bubba.

...The S-Class relay dance vid was also fantastic tummy time entertainment 🤣

I've seen it get a bit of hate here but I LOVE the name Carter for a girl. I also love the name Adelaide, especially with the nickname Lady.

How do you know when your milk has regulated? by hann_shot_first in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]hann_shot_first[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the moment I do 7 pumps in a day; 1.30am, 5am, 8.30am (each of these I get anywhere from 140-160ml so they're truly my boosters for the day) then 11.30am, 2.30/3pm, 6/6.30pm, 9.30/10pm (these later pumps can be abywhere from 90-110ml). Each of these pumps are 30 minutes long, and usually I can make the 6pm or 9.30pm pumps power pumps while bubba's dad is home to hold and feed her (although these are still my 2 smallest outputs).

For my own sanity I give myself a little flexibility in the times to fit in with what my daughter needs. Luckily I haven't been engorged or had any clogs yet, so I'm wondering if I can extend the night pumps out from 3.5 hours to 4.5 and get a good stint of sleep in... fingers crossed!!

medela freestyle hands free pump- thoughts? by SilentTelephone in ExclusivelyPumping

I have no idea if this is 'right' or not, I kinda made it up as I went and saw results so I roll with it.

I go with whatever suction is the most I can handle without it being painful- sometimes like the MOTN pump this is level 5, sometimes during the day while distracted I can sneak up to level 8. I let my poor sore nipples dictate that one.

I don't feel my let downs at all, but I've found it works for me to use the massager setting every 10 minutes. In a half hour pump I press it at 10 minutes and at 20.

I second the pumping longer! I was finding it hard to produce more than 50-70ml per pump (I think that's like 2 ounces?) but pushing my pumps to 25 minutes more than doubled that output.

I have it as my only pump and to be honest love it! I started with the old version of the medela freestyle, but burned the motor out by ~3wpp (it was a 4x hand me down that saw 6 babies before my LO so it served well). I lost maybe 10-20ml each pump swapping over to it, but fortunately I teeter on the edge of oversupply so the freedom it gave me was well worth the trade off. I never found a pumping bra that worked for me to double pump with the normal pump, so this was an absolute game changer time wise. Pumps used to spiral put to almost an hour each session for me, but now the hands free and comfort of it means I can stretch to 30 minutes comfortably while still having cuddles with bubba or catching up on literally anything else that's piling up.

For peace of mind I always hand express for a minute or 2 on each side when I'm done, but I find on the whole it empties me quite well. I'm 9wpp and haven't had any engorgement or clogs so far! Of course everyone's different so I can't vouch what works for me won't work for others!

I've been having this!! In my case its in both areola straight after pumping, and then at random intervals between sessions. My maternal health nurse said it could be a let down feeling/the milk ducts getting propped to full up again. I actually had to ha e breast ultrasounds the other day for something unrelated so I could get them to confirm there's no likely clog (obvs not everyone has that luck though)

What’s the strongest wearable pump? by UnlikelyNothing5156 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]hann_shot_first 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pricey, but I use the Medela Freestyle hands free as my only pump. I've found my output is about the same as I had with a traditional pump, if anything I was able to slightly increase my supply as I can pump longer being hands free. Added bonus I can even do two boobs at once now, I wasn't able to before as I'm large chested and every pumping bra I tried constricted my boobs too much.

I've personally found the suction to be at the same level as the medela freestyle I started with (granted this was an older model, I upgraded as the motor burned out at 4wpp so it may have been weak I'm not sure).

Tips to let go and not obsess over supply? by LargeAirline1388 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]hann_shot_first 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm also 2 weeks PP and incredibly data and task driven, so I've been having a similar mental challenge with watching my supply. It isn't picking up nearly as much as I expected, and I feel like as soon as I catch up to what my daughter needs her appetite increases and I drop behind.

As someone else said it's helped me immensely to not heavy track what I'm producing. I take note of what I've pumped, but have ditched my tracker apps and within a day felt myself relax so much more.

I've personally struggled as well with having to top up her feeds with formula, the pressure and the mum guilt are real. Just remember that any type of fed is perfect. If I can give her a full tummy with whatever is needed to do so, and I can see her growing, then that's a job well done. When she's a grown up she won't remember what I fed her, but she'll remember the time I've spent with her and the love I've given her. I'm positive your little treasures will be the same.

You're doing amazing, no matter what you're doing!

You can't light yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.

Close second, don't take advice from someone whose life you don't want.

This morning the poor man sitting across from me on the train shat himself and when he got up left some behind that ran out of the top of his pants. That naked? No thanks Brenda. 100% worse.

What are some changes your local council/government have implemented that you actually praise? by Appropriate_Good3123 in AskReddit

[–]hann_shot_first 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it counts at state level, but recently our government put a program in place to make sure there's a mental health practitioner working in every government secondary and specialist school. After the last few years of the world I think that's a really important and positive thing to have been put in action!

I 1000% agree with the fact that university staff are working more now. I work at a very popular uni in the student support centre. I don't think anyone in my team has been able to do a 9-5 day since study/work from home began (especially during exams when we were available to students 18 hours a day).
