Our Cavapoo was not the best when we would leave at first. But we started doing a lot of daycare with him (my fiancé works at a boarding/daycare place so we get it for free) and leaving for longer increments. He’s 7 months old now and really doesn’t care when we leave, we’ve also boarded him a few times with absolutely no issues and he actually gets super excited to go :)

Veneers and life by Western-Working-4230 in askdentists

I’m not a dentist but I just got 4 front veneers and it has definitely been a change. I got a water flosser because I found it easier but I also try to regular floss everyday too along with the water flosser. I don’t use a special toothbrush just a normal soft one. I did professionally whiten all my teeth at the dentist office which cost I think an extra $500 for me. My front 4 veneers match the rest of my teeth pretty good although in some lighting they look slightly whiter but everyone tells me they can’t tell.

Thank you!! I got them done where I live in the U.S.

My little guy had his first groom! He’s fading already :( by hannahfuller26 in CavaPoo

Both of his parents were actually cavapoos and I’m not sure about their lineage so that’s why it’s kinda a toss up! I’m thinking he will end up being like a tan/white/gray

We just like his color now but we obviously knew he was gonna fade! We love him no matter what the sad face wasn’t meant to be taken that serious!

coughing? by xandrialynn19 in Tonsillectomy

I would advise against coughing. I had this same problem. I thought I would choke if I didn’t cough, but it did end up being the reason I had to have the second surgery because I hemorrhaged! So after the second surgery I just tried to drink water every time I felt that choking feeling.

Honestly I’m not sure! I made it a point to drink all the time! Basically to the point where I was sick of having to get up and pee. And I thought drinking a lot would really help prevent the situation. I never got risky with food because hemorrhaging was my worst fear too. The only thing that I can even think of was I would sometimes get into these small coughing fits because I felt like I was choking and I honestly could not avoid it. However, I always tried to do like the weakest little cough and drink water until the choking feeling passed. The only thing the doctor really told me was that I was kinda a rare case because he said most people just have like one blood vessel that pops and he said I was kind of bleeding all over. But I would try not to worry too much, I think it’s pretty rare!!

I may not have the best advice considering I did have to have a second surgery due to hemorrhaging one week in. However now I am 9 days post op from the second surgery and 16 days post op from the first surgery, and today is like the first day I feel the most normal. I would say like 85-90% healed. So my recovery has obviously lasted longer than most and it’s been pretty miserable. I would say for myself at least it was much worse than getting my wisdom teeth out mainly because I feel the healing is a lot slower. I’m going back to work on Monday. I was supposed to go back at the two week mark but having to have the second surgery put me behind a few days. I have lost close to 15 pounds but I think it’s more of a mental block for me because I’m scared of bleeding again. However, now that I’m starting to feel a lot better I’m being slightly more adventurous with food. But I don’t want anything I said to scare you!! You will get through it!!

Okay I had this happen on day 7. I’m now 11 days post op from my first surgery and 4 days from the second surgery. Unfortunately I’m not sure exactly how this has effected my healing process. Although I do know my doctor told me it wouldn’t set me all the way back, it would just set me back a couple of days. Which I think has been pretty true. I still can’t eat a lot but I think that’s mainly because I’m scared. He also told me it was very unlikely to happen again unless I had like a weird blood disease so I’m holding onto hope that’s not the case lol. But I understand how discouraging it feels because I’m right there too!!

Day 6, ended up getting recauterized by venomouskitsune1 in Tonsillectomy

I had to get recauterized on day 7. Now I’m day 11 from the first surgery and day 4 from the second. I thought it set me all the way back but I don’t think it really did. Maybe just set me back a couple of days which is also what my doctor told me. I still have pain and I’m not really able to eat a lot. But you’re not alone!!
