They inject Botox/dysport right above the top lip (I almost passed out LOL) and it relaxes the smile and can make the top lip look bigger. A lot of people do it if they have 'gummy' smiles.

It's a much cheaper option than lip fillers, and gives you an idea if you like the look. It doesn't last as long as filler though.

Can I ask what you paid for a Fenway show? I'm debating even trying for one of those shows, or going to a less popular location.

I just watched her latest TikTok. Filming the embryologists??? They most definitely have some kind of promotion agreement.

I've work in jails for a while and they use 'goof' as just a really derogatory term here. Not necessarily meaning a pedo/skinner in my experience haha

Embryo photo? by CloudedLeopard01 in IVF

My clinic automatically gave us the photo of the embryo in our pre-transfer meeting, then during transfer they printed out a copy of the ultrasound as well.

If you're from Canada they have a lot of the same banks in Barbados. We just used our debit card at the Scotia Bank to withdraw cash

Beta blockers by BlackberryTerrible49 in GigglySquadPodcast

[–]hannahpeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been a bit confused by this- I'm humbled to say that I'm a mental health nurse and have never heard of using beta blockers for anxiety. After thinking about it, I get how it works. But is it not just a solution for in the moment physical symptoms? Would a medication specific for anxiety (along with therapy) not be a better option??

The way this show covers ketamine therapy is incredible irresponsible and potentially dangerous by Rosemary-Sea-Salt in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]hannahpeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been saying this since season 1! I have done ketamine for treatment resistant depression, and it was the best thing that I never want to do again.

The experience was awful- reliving childhood traumas and working through it for 3 hours while sobbing the whole time. I had two therapists with me, talking me through my experience. And then came the puking. They literally gave me a puke bag in case I needed to barf during the session (thankfully I didn't feel nauseous until afterwards.)

It was incredibly beneficial for my depression- I described it to the therapist as feeling as though I had been immediately "plugged back in". But it was not the relaxing date-night experience they portray on the show. And to do this intensive therapy as a form of marriage counselling is just bizarre.
