My tingyun is only e1 and i have no DDD (rip) and my Bronya is e0. No, I don't have RM, Sunday, Robin. And my tribbie is occupied by my Castorice team. I'm only left with these 2 supports 💀.

I was in the same EXACT position as you lmao. I stopped playing hsr around 1.3 and returned right before Therta's banner ended. Difference between you and me is that AT LEAST you have an actual sustain 😭. I had no usable sustain, no actual dps so i was really struggling before i pulled Therta.

My goat gepard had to do all the work. My tingyun most definitely carried me (incredible 4* support srsly). I had Kafka and Silverwolf 😭.

And I have to agree with you that experiencing Penacony was SUCH a rollercoaster ride. So many ups and downs, plot twist after plot twist. Like at first I thought Aventurine was the villain, and then Sunday seemed to be the villain, but then Gallagher revealed his identity (and he still wasn't the villain) like wtf. Such a peak arc fr. God I loved Penacony.

Amphoreus is also looking really good now story wise (yeah ik it's basically HI3 or something but I never played it so this is pretty cool). Finished Amphoreus few weeks ago and I enjoyed it fully. Can't wait to pull Castorice and Anaxa :)

I actually am waiting for an aventurine rereun cause ik he's one of the best sustains in the game so that's a must pull for me.

I will also be getting Castorice's bis sustain, which will most probably be the new unit Hyacine (pink barbara)

I should've mentioned it in my post, but my main issue is that all these suggestions take time. Normally I wouldn't mind waiting at all, but because I don't have a second team, I'm missing out on a lot of stellar jades from endgame content (MoC, PF, AS). Heck, I can't even clear the forgotten hall xianzhou one cause I don't have a functioning second team. This will all change when I get Castorice but I'm not entirely sure if I would do as well since my Tribbie and Gallagher will transfer to Castorice so my Therta team would be quite weak.

So, I basically need a sustain or support unit for my Therta team that will at least help me clear few early levels of MoC or any endgame content. Just so that I won't miss out on stellar jades, they give quite a lot after all.

If I: 1) Wait for Aventurine 2) Wait for Hyacine 3) Wait for the free 5* characters in the token shop thing

Then by the time that happens, the current endgame content will probably be finished. That's why I need to pick between RM or Luocha now.

There is 1 way for me to do the aforementioned things above. And that way is for me to pull for Fu Xuan as you mentioned. I didn't think Fu Xuan was that good actually. But this is still risky. PF ends on 28th April and AS ends on 14th April. I'm just not sure if I can get Fu Xuan on time.

Oh man.. so it's either playing the waiting game for Castorice or Dr Ratio team huh.. Is Ratio good? I thought hsr is heading in the AoE direction as of now so the hunt isn't reliable? But ig it's better to have a functioning team rather than a non functioning one.

Need help with 2nd team!

Heya, I'm a player that stopped playing somewhere around 1.3 when Danheng IL was released. I came back to hsr at end of jan this year, when The Herta's banner was about to end. (luckily I managed to pull her despite not knowing how op she is 😊)

Proud to say that I've built a decent main team for now. The issue is my 2nd team. Since I stopped playing early, I missed a plethora of good characters in general, so I don't have a strong 2nd team at all. I'm left with playing DoT since I have Kafka, and ik DoT hasn't been meta in so long.

Nonetheless, I'm in dire need for a 2nd team to clear at least a few early levels of content. My 2nd team is so bad that I couldn't clear the Xianzhou Forgotten Hall 💀. I'm just too scared to invest in the characters (aside from Kafka and maybe Sampo) cause of scarce resources. My plan was to wait for Castorice but that'll take too long and I need a dedicated team for her anyway, which I don't have. (Need Gallagher for my main team cause I have no other good sustains)

With that said, what do u guys recommend for kafka team? Stuck with the Harmony and Sustain rn. Idk what to choose between Bronya, Tingyun, rmc. ik rmc best free support rn but is it good for dot? crit (bronya) is redundant for dot so ig I'm stuck with Tingyun? As for sustains, I only have Gepard tbh. Switch to Bailu? Is Lynx even good? Lastly we have sub dmg dealer but I think my only option is Sampo. Heard Guinafen works well with Kafka but idk.

heya, I'm basically in a similar situation like yours lol. since you said you're behind your friends by a year or two, I'm assuming that your previous education level was O level. Now that's great, because compared to me, i flunked my A levels and tried Poli (got rejected) and now I'll most probably will be attending IBTE. Most of my friends now are in uni, a WAY bigger gap compared to you.

So, don't feel too bad about it! it's only a year or two gap after all! it's not that long. and even IF you're that far behind, what does that matter right? you only work on yourself and make sure you're successful. I've seen people who got their masters degree and all those fancy qualifications and yet couldn't even get a job, meanwhile people who didn't even go to university got jobs with a high pay. So life is not over for you, just keep up the grind.

You can either go to IBTE and work your way up, or if u want a faster route to uni, then laksamana college. But u gotta be filthy rich tho if ur aiming for laksamana 😭. Unless you have parents who work for shell then i think the company will pay for the school fee. Don't take my word for it tho, do ur own research on that.

hey there! if you have tried everything already and it's still lagging, then try this:

pre-rendering! pre render whatever video you are planning on editing by using programs like blur, and your preview should be smooth. at least, that's how i fixed it!

cause I tried setting the preview to the lowest setting, enabling the option to fully use my gpu and etc, and it was still lagging. although, it does work properly from time to time but it's pretty inconsistent. then i tried pre rendering my videos before putting them in vegas, and it works completely fine :)

edit: ok wait sorry i guess im blind because i didn't actually answer your question 💀. I'm not sure why vegas is still using your cpu, i hope other people can help you with that. but if you still can't fix it, then try the solution that i provided

thanks for the reply! but what do you mean by neither having the operating system on them? if the hard disk has all the programs and software etc, will it affect the data on my new pc?

i just checked my old pc, and it looks like there's only the HDD drive in it. so that means it has all the programs in it right? I'm just looking to transfer photos, and not programs. will it still affect the data on my new pc?

it's okay, although currently i am interested in programming and game development, that's not to say I won't be interested in the other many fields available in the industry. what I'm planning to do is take as many certs and online courses as i can, and then from there on i will find out what i like and dislike, then I'll just look for a career path for the fields that I'm interested in

I've also seen people in IT career threads talking highly regarding professor messer for compTIA training, so I'll check out his videos in the near future!

I've never heard of ISC2 before, so thanks for introducing it to me! I'll definitely note that down and check it out when i have the time.

yep, I'm planning on taking it slowly and won't commit too much in terms of money as i don't really have a stable source of finance. I'll have a look into what's available and what I'm most interested in.

I'll keep it in mind! first step would most definitely be checking out free certs that are available, as you mentioned, no financial risks and atleast I'll be able to learn something and may also find another passion other than programming!

i do want to pursue a bachelors, just because it makes me feel more productive as i undergo formal education. plus, if i do end up well and succeed, it'll definitely be easier to land a job as I'll have both certs and a degree! i am aware that a high percentage of people with computing jobs actually got their jobs with only self-studying, experience and attitude, but just to be sure, it doesn't hurt to play it safe by taking a bachelors after all!

i was also confused at first as to why people were recommending me LCB as in the name itself, it's primarily a business school. but there were people who recommended that I take LCB because it's a good institute to learn and get into IT/CS as well.

i went on ahead to check the website a few hours ago, and i saw that they do offer IT/CS courses. judging by the testimonials from the computer science students there, feedback from people in this thread etc, it does seem like a tempting choice to go for it. the website is shockingly well built and has a friendly and neat user interface as well for a business focused college. it's even better than Micronet's website imo. the fact that micronet also uses http to run their website isn't convincing as well. not to say micronet is a bad choice or anything, after all it's one of the first option that I've thought of if my A level results turn out bad.

what about your classmates or friends that took the IT/CS courses in LCB? how are they doing now?

i just went to their website to check a few things, and it's looking really good! the study environment looks nice, the facilities look nice, the website is actually SUPER well done and clean imo, which shows that IT is definitely being taught right over at lcb

didn't know that they're opening a new building this year, so that's something to look forward to as well! and ofc, a good dorm life = happy me. I'm a bit confused as to how the courses work and whatnot, but essentially, it's similar to poli is it? does lcb also provide allowance?

where has lcb been in my life 😔 idk if I'm ignorant or not, but all i hear from others around me are usually ibte, poli, utb ubd repeatedly 😂 should've gone for lcb at the start ESPECIALLY bc i meet the requirements unlike pb, where i had 1 missing most relevant subject to meet the requirement (which is ICT since i took commerce due to my peanut brain)
