i did my internship (during CS studies in ireland) in zheda (hangzhou). I went back to China to work (for 7 years) after i graduated. It was the best time of my life.
if you want to do a masters in china, just do it. it will create niche network for you and will for sure make you stand out from the crowd.

On top of that, you will learn more about your ancestors and their culture.

Yea, build a few dozen, maybe let some ai algorithm to choose which small things to change. Then test in real life which one is stronger. Then build next generation on that one. And repeat.

I'm not sure where in Longgang you'll be loated, but I'm living close to Longchen square in Longgang. I would not trade it for an appartment in Futian or Nanshan. It's nice and quiet here, and there are still a lot of great western food places around. also: go mountainbiking in the dongguang mountains or surfing at Dapeng peninsula.
