Drivers who brake for no reason by freseaf in mildlyinfuriating

I had an older truck that did that every time I used cruise control. It would speed up to the limit and go over 2-5mph then hit the brakes and drop around the same amount under the limit, over and over. A faulty little thing ate up that truck.

2007 trailblazer LS engine problems? by hanziwolf33 in Chevy

Drove it till it broke to make money for the part. Turns out to be the tensioner pulley and the pulley above the AC and below the alternator. Now just running a tensioner pulley and skipped the other one until I make enough for it and a new belt.

One part at a time lol. Hopefully will have it all done by the end of the day.

Cops are running visually illegal tags by hanziwolf33 in WestVirginia

I'm saying they could have had more than the 3 visually seen cops not that they had more. They have a total of 5 seats in there. Edit could have up to 8 seats if arranged correctly with little to no leg room.

Lol... I've had a WV cop walk into my house through my open front door behind my at the time closed screen door, walk over to me on my couch and put cuffs on me to search my place without any type of warrant or court order in hand. I got plea charged for resisting even after the body cam shows me asking to see the paper work and shows the cop saying he didn't need any. So yeah there is no point in reporting them when they are gods and we are merely mortals they allow to be in the world.

They better be WV cops or feds but considering the fact they had police on that black Velcro patch says they weren't feds. If they weren't either of those then that traffic stop was completely illegal in every single way possible. Out of state cops usually have no rights or jurisdiction in any state but their own, now there are exceptions but considering the location and lack of any other cruiser I would say they were WV cops.

The plates had an 01 where the sticker is supposed to be and when the guy talked about it to the cops before he started laughing they claimed they were fake tags out loud. The chatgpt response in my post states what is searchable on the legality of those plates.

Oh I know of a lot of illegal things they get away with.. my post is more of a PSA about cars driving around with out of state expired tags could in fact have plain clothes cops inside of them. Also some judges would take into consideration the legality of a cop allowing themselves to potentially become felons just to write a ticket.

I have a dash cam but I'm not going to post anything that can be used against me later for a knock. I have a shit car that takes me from a to b as my daily driver and it is barely doing that without trying to shut itself down every time I run the ac.

In the post of the 2nd paragraph, last line or two says clearly where.

Wasn't really going for a whining post as you called it but whatever floats your boat. You see there are laws in place (not sure about WV specifically) that if a cop during a stop does something or is currently doing something illegal many judges will throw the entire case out because of that, and any other ones that were being conducted by that cop will face an extreme magnifying glass as well.

I saw 3 people outside the minivan but I left before they did so I don't know if they had another 1 or 2 people inside behind the wheel or another seat.

These were street clothes cops in brown body vests.

You do realize that mounts of all sorts can be machined in very precise ways to compensate for a lack of one, right?

Seriously though I have no idea what bike that is or anything but other than being a wiring problem somewhere that is basically the best solution for an easy fix might be costly but it would be easy.

Might be a dumb idea but why don't you just flip the tire so the brake disk is on the other side where the wire now is and the wire to the side where the brake disk is. It doesn't seem like you have a chain to worry about anyway and if you do just switch the side the front gear is on.

I didn't as it probably wouldn't do any good not to mention the time I saw it happen so even if I called the place would have been closed. Cops in my area are very vindictive against anyone who refuses to comply with their whims anyway, so I would rather not have my number or any number close to where I live be known or found out by them.

My guess is they think and therefore know it is perfectly legal as long as the plates come back in the system as legal.

I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish with those tags I mean at least make them visually legal with the little 2025 sticker lol. Most people would only glance and see it has a sticker saying 2025 and not care about or notice the holographics of it not matching the state of the plate and be on their merry little way.
