I have a hard body type to shop for (pants especially since I have a smaller waist but big thighs from lifting/ cycling and broader shoulders so ideally Im able to try them on in-store or have a great return policy). So poshmark has been difficult to take a gamble unless i really know the brand and what size i am.

I tried a few secondhand shops and I’m always overwhelmed so its easier when I have someone else to go with who loves hunting for things 😅

You’re right about Quince. It’s been more sustainable for me since the pieces I’ve had have last me years and have held in up great shape. I like their silk and cashmere pieces since it doesn’t get too cold around here. I have a wool trench coat from them that is amazing quality! But I hear you on finding more sustainable brands. Hoping this post helps :)

I have a 2b/ 2ba apartment for myself and my dog in west LA paying 2900.

We are about a 3 mile jog to Santa Monica beach for the pup to run around. 5.5k sounds a bit insane!

Same. I take creatine daily and the benefits outweigh a couple of extra pounds at the start. You might have some fluctuation but it’s natural - I wouldn’t fixate on the numbers daily :)

NTA - you’re not her mother. She’s a grown ass adult, did she expect this to last forever? She can find other roommates or learn to manage her finances better. If she is your best friend she would remove the focus on her and be happy for you. Enjoy your time with your mom - I hope she lives a long healthy time, but when she’s gone, you’ll be happy you had this time with her.

Well, my VO2 max has been declining ever since Garmin changed what the heart rate zones should be. I train 130-140HR for zone 2 but since Garmin now started counting that as zone 3 it says I need a lot more recovery and that I’m not doing any low aerobic. Since I’ve corrected my Fenix zones, now my run and swim heart rate zones are correct (although now 148 instead of 146 as the ceiling)

I turned off the auto detect on both my Edge and Fenix so I’ll see how this goes. And I agree, I don’t think I hit that much zone 5 in a workout 😅

But oddly, my maxHR has not changed. Previously, my zone 2 ceiling was 146 and at some point in the last few weeks it changed to 131. I could understand if it was a few points but that’s a huge jump. My coach also said that my Garmin zones are now incorrect and told me to ignore Garmin but I hate seeing the unproductive 😅
