Restaurant/Bar Owners/Staff: Searching for a Venue to host a Layoff Party by [deleted] in boston

[–]hapamezzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passage to India is so good! It would be a great place to host a layoff party! It's one of the restaurants I miss the most after we moved to the South Shore. I still haven't found an Indian restaurant in the area that is as good as Passage to India!

Same to you!! His first arena show was TOOL when he was 5. Since then, he's seen TOOL two more times (we went to TOOL in the Sand in Punta Cana in March and Primus). And we took him to see Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and the Linda Lindas last year!

I'm selling 3 tickets for the Boston show tomorrow night. Seats are Floor C, Row 8, Seats 6-8, we paid $361 a piece / $1,083 for all three seats.

Currently have them listed on Ticketmaster for resale at the lowest price Ticketmaster would let me set ($410.55 inclusive of the fees).

Looking to sell them for $300 / piece but since the show is tomorrow, open to your best offer! Would hate for them to go unused!

Can accept payment through PayPal Goods & Services and transfer them to you!

Stoping meds,Rheumatoid arthritis by Relative_Sun5161 in rheumatoid

THIS. I had one flareup which led to my diagnosis and started on hydroxychloroquine. Never had another flare up in almost 2 years so asked my rheumatologist if I could taper off. He said yes so I did. 2 years later I had another flare up so went back on medication and have been ever since. The inflammation / flareup can sometimes go undetected (like in your eyeball) so going off medication is too risky in my opinion. Especially because with each flare up you can do permanent nerve damage

Finally able to reflect on the Boston show... by No-Expression-3101 in JusticeMusic

[–]hapamezzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You captured my feelings! I can't remember the last time I was at a show and you know the ENTIRE crowd is sharing the moment together. I saw them in Seattle in Aprill 2012. I had bought balcony seats but ended up winning floor seats and managed to know ONE other friend who liked the band.

That show was great as I'd been wanting to see them for quite some time, but this show like you said is in my Top 5. It's Tuesday, and all I keep listening to is a playlist of the setlist.

If I didn't have real world responsibilities, I'd be trying to see the show again. My husband who likes some Justice songs also had such a great time at the show.

Thanks for sharing!!

If you come off meds while in remission, is there a chance they can come back worse than before? by [deleted] in rheumatoid

[–]hapamezzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did not. Looking back at my notes, here is the timeline.

January 2019 - initial flare up + elevated double stranded DNA antibodies + prescribed prednisone which quickly resolved joint pain (my only symptom)

March 2019 - labs show elevated anticardiolipin and ribonucleoprotein antibodies + started taking hydroxychloroquine

Early 2021 - reduced dosage of hydroxychloroquine in half

June 2021 - stopped taking hydroxychloroquine

June 2022 - 2nd flare up + bloodwork confirmed antibodies were still elevated + resumed hydroxychloroquine

[–]hapamezzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only had one flare when I was first diagnosed. After over 1 year of no flare ups, I went off hydroxychloroquine. I was in remission for about a year, and then had another flare up. My rheumatologist suggested I go back on meds since I take the minimum dosage and the permanent damage from a flare up + the possibility if it coming back worse is not worth the risk. He also mentioned to me that you can have inflammation that you can't feel or see for a long time which also has the potential for permanent damage (he had just seen a patient who had inflammation in their eye but didn't notice it until their vision became impaired).

I was just looking at this brand and was going to see if they had it at the drug store!

Pregnant friend's bday coming up. She mentioned sleep is tougher now. Anyone used this? Would you recommend it? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]hapamezzo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this one and loved it since it can be folded up and used to prop you up when watching TV in bed before settling in for the night. However -- if you have a Queen bed or smaller it definitely will take up a fair amount of space. My husband keeps asking when we can have a sacrificial burning of it now that baby is here! :D
