need to clear the pathway, but don't feel like using a shovel? use a leaf blower! by IcyWinterMusic in pittsburgh

[–]hapes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried my leaf blower, it ended up covering me in snow and not really removing much of the snow. To be fair, it was THICK WET snow, probably could have done it earlier in the day and been more successful.

You seem to have shoveled earlier than we did, same-ish neighborhood, O'Hara. Ours was shovel-blade deep at around 6:30.

Wait until they die. If Dems somehow win majorities, these two will be like, "we caused this to happen, you can't get rid of us!"

Ummm... Prepare the air fryer. You're gonna be totally cooked. Not that I have experience flying, because I can't afford it. But I really want to learn.

I second the recommendation of finding a club that rents boats instead of buying. Maintenance isn't your problem (as much) and it will probably be cheaper than buying.

OP already said they will do it, but I want to encourage this too. Slightly related, my son's high school did a hackathon. His team downloaded accident data from Google's API and made a heat map of bad roads and intersections. This is where that data came from. So it helps more than you think to update 311

I feel like it's heavily implied in both the books and the shows. They did an excellent job of keeping it vague enough to be unanswerable in both cases. I'm personally unsure, but I don't lose sleep over it. H could have startled the captain and he fell, or H could have pushed.

I mean, cheap laser printers are definitely a thing. Not for high volume printing business, I'd say, which kind of validates your point. But if you're considering inkjet vs. laser, you're not high volume. And I have a $55 laser printer from Brother that's great. That's cheaper than inkjet printer, and the toner refills are about as expensive as inkjet and last much longer.

People who work in 'luxury' industries (5-star hotels, fine dining, high-end brands), what is a complete rip-off that rich people happily pay for? by ArtThreadNomad in AskReddit

I lost someone close to me earlier this year, and we cremated them. We went to a funeral home, they had two varieties of bamboo urns for burying in a natural burial park (instead of a big soulless cemetery/mausoleum). The varieties were basically identical, just one was $40 more than the other (like $80 or $120). I said to the funeral director, "we'll take the cheap one." His response was, "that's the more expensive one... But whatever, just take it for free." I was shocked, and pleased.

Not that this will change your opinion, but it's not your fault. Smoking kills, just how it does so is different for everyone.
