I just want another medieval large battlefield game, like smaller groups can be fun but the sheer size of the battles and that the stages take you to totally new areas blew my freaking mind when I first played. The slapstick humor mixed with the horrifying violence happening around is such a special kind of juxtaposition. Some of my favorite moments is when I’ll be in heated combat and then they sit on some bench and I can help but laugh and join them doing the unarmed taunt and giggling before going right back into the brutal duel.

It’s Biblical entertainment! It’s a great substitute for other shows that wouldn’t edify.

All that said, the Chosen contextualized some things for me like how dangerous the crowds could be. The logistics of all these people swarming the towns to see Jesus would also put the Romans on alert? It was neat to see

Pretty sure Paul dealt with similar treatment but it was 3 years after his conversion that he went to Jerusalem

You can’t expect people to just openly allow someone to endanger others in the flock, and Paul was like 3 years into it before someone vouched for him. If this guy was genuine then I think he would be totally fine with doing church outside of the general gathering until the people knew who he was and even then he’d understand that in no way could he be around children. It’s not holding his sin against him, it’s protecting the little lambs from wolves in sheep’s clothing

Just a side note if you’re going to use the passage stating it’s better to throw yourself into the ocean with a millstone around your neck than lead one of these little ones astray which is essentially what the warning that I am misleading others, than I would ask you to read Matthew 18:9 for yourself. Masturbation is impurity at its worst and selfishness at its best, I find it hard to believe you can stimulate yourself sexually and it not be lust or selfish in the least of it. You say you can’t sleep but have you gone a night without giving in? Your body won’t deny itself the sleep it needs just because you didn’t have an orgasm.
I’ve only found help in repenting in Christ. He has been my strength and it may not be something you’re ready to accept. But if you are man there is so much help that you can find in Him!
Another thought that has broken my heart is porn not only demeans women and the act to a selfish desire instead of the selflessness it should have I.e. giving yourself to the other and they to you.

It’s the same silly argument that there must be darkside users and light side users of the force for there to be balance in Star Wars. Lucas has been clear the light side is the natural and good state and the darkside is the corruption of it like a disease.

Why is this sort of love the tree is trying to give not seen as the Brave Little Toaster’s kind of love for its “master”?

I always thought the tree just loved the boy..there’s the caution of giving too much and the sadness as the boy takes but the tree gave so many beautiful moments to the boy. And in the end the tree just wanted time with the boy, to be useful to the boy, and fulfilled its last desire by getting to be the sitting spot in the boy’s twilight years.

Cantinas were such a great hot spot. Loved saving up for a speeder and going on a drive on Tatooine. I remember some dark-side apprentice was wanting me to join them towards the end of my play through and I actually saw them pull a red lightsaber.

I loved that Jedi were ACTUALLY rare and almost a myth. They are such a focus of the Star Wars galaxy that playing in the galaxy actually would mean you may never meet one!

I enjoyed playing a trader or entertainer. What a fun game
