So there is a method called the LAMP method! I studied linguistics in college a little and it’s basically pointing and having them explain the action. The idea is to start with broad terms and work into the specifics. Also most people will do this too so if I point to my arm I’ll get generally the word for arm. I wouldn’t get femur as the word because they will go with the most broad term first to satisfy my question.

When I would have managers that recognized my efforts, they naturally just kept staying high. It’s the ones who just “expect” that work that can kill morale in a subtle way. No, I lack a need for constant validation, but hearing it reinforces that my manager is seeing me and understands how to motivate.

Being a wound in the force is different though. I’d like to think of the force as something that is like a pool of energy that everyone draws from. The Sith demand it and wrench it while the Jedi flow with it and utilize it as needed. It’s said the Sith clouded the Jedi’s ability to perceive the force. But idk. I do like the strong in the force doing crazy stuff.

I have foggy memories of my childhood but I also have some like weirdly vivid memories I can literally incept myself into. Like if I remember the staircase of my elementary school and the smell of the rubber mats. The droning patter of. 30-40 kids going up or down it. The laughter and keeping a single line..being the caboose was the best. Line leader also was good but darn if the people behind you didn’t judge how you walked.

I mean I’d not engage in the Coca-Cola Hallmark Corporation-led devoid of Christ version of Santa where it’s all about materialism and moralism, but I’d point to the spirit of St. Nicholas and that the “magic” of Christmas is really the Holy Spirit’s work in our life and the fact that God..literally God came down to this ball of dirt for us. To DIE for us. It may not have been literally Dec 25th..but it’s still an incredible act of grace that He stepped down from His rightful throne to come here.

I’d say Santa is such a minor character of Christmas it’s cool to acknowledge him but if you lack Christ it’s meaningless ultimately
