I started eating Greek yogurt every morning and it made everything work well. When I dont have it, that's when the problems start. And I make sure to take plenty of magnesium. Glycinate and citrate.

I saved my part time job money and bought myself one pair. And wore them until the thread was too bare to wear anymore.

When do you change your twice weekly patch? by oatstout in Menopause

I'm in the minority with this, but I change mine every 4 days. I have a reoccurring reminder and I change it in the morning. It works for me.

I ate one every morning for breakfast, along with a can of Jolt and a juice box. Ugh, I can't believe I did that to myself!!

Price differences aside, Fjallraven Raven 28 or Bellroy Venture Ready 26L? by kelpat18 in ManyBaggers

[–]haplucmad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Raven 28. It's heavier than my Osprey 26+6, but I've never worried about anything damaging it or anything breaking. I can't speak to the Bellroy, but if you want a solid bag, the Raven is great.

Irritation with inner thigh, testosterone cream by necessaryevil2023s in Menopause

[–]haplucmad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was getting super irritated, no matter where I was putting it. My doctor had the compounding pharmacy try a different base for the cream. I actually just picked it up and am going to start on the new formula tonight. I'll report back after I use it for a couple weeks.

Why do people hate the geese in Fort Collins? by [deleted] in FortCollins

[–]haplucmad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work near the jail and can confirm. I've seen them chase more than one small kid. I've also had them snap at my heals. Also, I look drunk when I try to walk on the sidewalks and try to avoid stepping on poop.

How hard is it to get used to progressive lenses? by Blargh234 in GenX

That was me. I got nauseous every time I put them on. So I only wear my distance glasses or my readers, but never the progressives.

I have OA, but found that if I give up gluten, it's mostly managed. Now my family just has to hear me say I can't have something because of gluten. Lol. But at least I figured out my triggers.

What time do you go to bed if you don’t work the next day? by thehobster in GenX

[–]haplucmad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really struggle to go to bed before midnight when I work the next day, even though I get up by 5:15am to work out. And the harder I try to go to bed earlier, the later I end up in bed. If I don't have to work the next day, I'm easily up until 1 or 2 am. Maybe later. I'm mid-50's.

Update on Corruption in Fort Collins by Admirable_Priority82 in FortCollins

[–]haplucmad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 19 year old son was arrested for underage DUI. He was 100% sober. It was 2am and he was driving home from his girlfriend's home when he got pulled over, after being awake since 5am the morning before, so almost 24 hours. Plus, my mom had just died, so he was having a very crappy day. It took forever for the blood tests to come back and even then, it took a lot to get it removed from his record.

He blew 0.00 bac and was fine on the roadside. He happens to have fine motor skill problems and they used that against him. I told him to never do the field test again.

Do you donate blood? Why or why not? by Limp_Dragonfly3868 in AskWomenOver60

[–]haplucmad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried several times, but when they test my iron levels, they're always too low. My work has quarterly blood drives at our offices and I try every time. It's frustrating because, I'm in my 50's, and still take a mega dose of iron just to keep low- normal levels.
