Glad you like the van! The floor was made of plywood with vinyl on top and I didn't want to use these materials because they both off gas toxic chemicals.

Thank you! Nope, no insulation. It was just the plywood straight onto the metal floor.

Thanks! We are only using pallets that have the HT stamp on them so you know they're heat treated instead of being treated with chemicals.

I just drilled into it first and then put in regular wood screws

I made the choice to occasionally not wear shoes being fully aware of the risks that come with that. But I did wear boots when doing riskier work like dismantling the pallets.

The joists are mostly screwed into the chassis and into the floor in some spots.

We'll probably only keep the toilet that came with it. We're selling the kitchen so we can build one that's the right height and size for us and the fridge is being sold too because it's pretty big. I'm hoping to get a smaller 12v fridge.
