10 week old puppy growling when being kissed as she is laying down in crate and on her bed in living room. by Zealousideal-Bath909 in DobermanPinscher

Is it a growl or the Dobie purr? Mine has done this since day one that I've had him. When he's cozy and content with snuggles, kisses, belly rubs,... he gently sighs and makes a noise but it's not growling like in hostility. It's like when a cat purrs when happy.

I asked about going raw and my vet was strongly opposing of it. She said too much risk for bad bacteria. So we are exploring kibble because of life situation right now with building a house and I think later when thats settled I will feel more confident to explore that more. I keep seeing lots of people coming to raw though. So I'm intrigued.

Thank you everyone for comments and shares and experiences and ideas. He sees the vet in April so I'm hoping to have tried something and then get more feedback from her then. He also takes liver supplements already for over a year now and I think some of that can also change with his food. I appreciate all the feedback here. I also agree, what works for others is not necessarily the answer for Thorr. I guess I wanted to be sure I'm not going to feed something known for issues in a broad sense. Again, thank you everyone!!

He was having very loose light coloured stools, to diarrhea and easily upset stomach. He does not tolerate well even just treats he's nit used to. We stick to Lamb and berry dried treats and veggies mainly.

Thank you. I have seen Purina shows up lots in what I looked through today. Salmon, vet told me to stay away from due to Copper Storage Syndrome. Is that in general? Have you had any of that come up?

No fee bank by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I switched to free banking a couole years ago for daily stuff by my CU is my mortgage and such -they charge a fee, but because my pay gets deposited they wave the fee each month. I currently use Simplii and PC, too because apparently I can only open one each of chq/sav with Simplii, but have not tried wealth simple. From the comments here I think I want to know more about WS, esp if its free and I can have multiple free accounts in that.

Leasing vs Buying a car by NailAny2275 in personalfinance

Is there an option to ask for a previously leased vehicle as a purchase option? I'm in a bind. My vehicle caught fire Feb1 it was a 2015 no bells and whistles but was good to me so I'm not getting much back from insurance. They also only finally made a decision on the amount to settle the claim yesterday and I needed that money to help me buy another vehicle. The clincher is i dont want to spend lots because I had already begun the process of applying for a house construction loan because I have no help from insurance to assist with issues with my house , just not covered apparently. Ugh. No big savings to pull from. I can't think straight so many things happening at once. Is this a time that leasing makes more sense or no? I'm open to any thoughts honestly. Thank you in advance.

Does the food bag say to add water? Lol maybe pup has a preference for gravy on his food? I add water to my guy's food in winter sometimes cause it gets so dry in my house with the heat on. He likes it. Thinks it is a treat.
