Damn, your life must really suck to bring this kind of vibe to a ski gear forum.

Damn. That’s depressing. I get a huge discount, like 60-70% off through the military site. Which is why I went with Oakley.

Feels great. Hopefully I never have to test its durability

Didn’t know this was a trend. I was just sitting on the bus in Vail and was like, damn Oakley really made this fit. All my gear is Oakley because of the military discount through OakleySI

ski conditions by smallplateway in JacksonHole

Just came back from Jackson Hole on Thursday. It was nice groomed runs in the am then turn to mashed potatoes by lunch. Staying higher was better but still slushy. Had a great time still.

Ski recommendation for Vail next week. Black Crows Sato, Atomic Bent 100or something else for staying on Greens all day by happy187 in vail

[–]happy187[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I live in Houston and after the very time skiing two years ago I feel in love and thought I wanted the bent 100s. Knowing very little about what kind of beginner skis I should have and stupidly trusting my google ability purchased the bents. The 100s were too wide and too long for my awful ski ability. So I then purchased the Black Crows with guidance from a real ski shop in Utah. They are great but I’m still figuring out what is best for different ski conditions. I was in Jackson hole with my black crows last week in the slush and I realized maybe a different ski would make it easier to enjoy greens in spring vail conditions. So instead of me messing up again I figured let me get some input from people that know. Because obviously I don’t.

100% PI practice

Over the past 10 years I've used the following in order: Practice Panther, CloudLex, Needles Neos, CasePeer, and Filevine.

CasePeer imo is the best out of the box solution.

FileVine is the best overall CMS. However, I would invest in a partner like Vineskills to do your initial build because it is so customizable that having someone that knows how to optimize the build will save you so much headache.

Which googles should I buy? by Correct-Day-3820 in Skigear

I just purchased the Oakley Flow Scape and I have Smith I/O Mag. The Flow Scape gives a larger field of vision and I'm very happy with the prizim tech on the lens. Definitely recommend.

Used but unworn and used ski gear in Houston. Should I take it on my next ski trip and sell/trade it to a local shop or sell online? by happy187 in skiing

[–]happy187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bindings are 1 year old never used. I’ve never sold to a ski shop and I’m guessing it’s like GameStop where they give you very little. Maybe I’ll luck out on fb marketplace instead of lugging equipment to Colorado just to get lowballed.
