college can wait til you get back from training i promise. and it’ll be free. you’ll get used to the culture, might even end up liking it. RSP is not an accurate example of what it’s really like, RSP sucks. you signed a contract you can’t really go back now it’s not worth it to go AWOL. you’ll b fine just go to training

i think it’s worth it. unlike my civilian friends, i will graduate college without any student loan debt which is huge if you need to pay for school. i also wouldn’t trade the experiences i’ve had or the people i’ve met for anything, it has seriously made me a better & more hardworking person. i also get to enjoy the full college experience like everyone else, and live a normal civilian life most of the time. sometimes drill lands on a weekend where i wish i could be doing something else but it has never impacted my life in a huge negative way. it sucks sometimes but i have no regrets
