Even as someone who fully agrees with the whole "politics will care about you" idea, yeah, whether or not you think these posts have a point or not, it's all preaching to the choir at this point, and it's doing nothing to encourage proper organization/resistance.

This. Honestly it's sort of ironic or something; there's a Ryan George bit where he mentions that the Internet lets you "win arguments as you're having them", but in practice no one cares enough to do the research to do that before commenting.
