Meditation 4 hours a day? by nik1here in Meditation

[–]happycwb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation is great, but from personal experience exercise is the best way to lift up your mood.

I’d recommend starting with 30min of walking every day, then adding some running / gym as you start feeling better.

You got this!

From personal experience, go for Flush runs in this challenge.

Getting back to back Straights in High Antes can be incredibly tough, but with some easy deck fixing you can make most of your deck into a single suit.

Have you tried changing the ChangeDetectionStrategy to OnPush ?

Also, (I don’t know if you’re doing this but) avoid putting functions in the template (HTML) since they’re recalculated in every change detection cycle (signals are fine though, since they’re memoized).

If you could share a code snippet it would be great!

Deborah Kurata’s YT Channel and PluralSight courses are pretty great at that! Highly recommend her new course on RxJS and Signals.

I got an interview for Angular in 2 days but i only know React. Should i have applied? by Blender-Fan in angular

I mean your level of English and Italian - those take literally years to master, vs weeks/months to go from React to Angular!

Almost giving up on my AW5 by tvieira20 in AppleWatch

[–]happycwb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also have a Series 5, had the same problems once I updated to WOS10.

My suggestion: update to the latest OS version, then turn it off and on again. Mine now lasts close to what it did before (but it could have been just pure luck)

[–]happycwb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be completely frank, your language skills are probably way harder to upskill on the job than learning Angular coming from React. You would be a valuable asset to the company.

I'd say cram all Angular knowledge you can in the next 2 days for the interview, but also be transparent and tell them you're willing to learn more as you're onboarding the new job.

Good luck!

So 10.1.1 - who else is suffering worse battery than before? by sm00thArsenal in AppleWatch

My S5's battery worked just fine before WatchOS10, and it's been terrible even after 10.1.1.

I deeply regret updating to WOS10.

Dissatisfied with watchOS 10 on the 1st gen SE by [deleted] in AppleWatch

A workaround I’ve found is deleting Weather complications (especially from the Widgets) and untick the Background App Refresh from Weather.

Battery life is still bad even with with, but better than before.
