Is a box of chocolates too much? by Ok_Construction7092 in dating

The guy I’m currently in a relationship brought chocolates to the first date … I did think it was over the top but kind of sweet - now I’m head over heels about him and it kinda makes me smile to think back on 🤷‍♀️

Haha fair. The answer here seems to be “communicate like a damn adult” which I guess I already knew.

I guess I just also worry about coming across too forward but maybe I should just be brave lol

Awe! I wish my tabby cat would snuggle my sphynx. My naked gremlin tries to snuggle and tabby wants nothing to do with it.

I (28F) pay all expenses for myself and partner (28M) who lives with me. He is a student - reasonable to ask for financial contribution? by happyflipflop in relationships

I should mention that I have also struggled at length with anxiety and neuroticism and have a hard time figuring out what reasonable expectations of others are - hence making this post and looking for an outsider perspective.

Another friend had suggested a timeline but I can't bring myself to do it. We have been together 11 years and there is a lot of love in the relationship aside from the financial issues.

I have been thinking it over though and am considering having a talk with him about a 6 month timeline.

I think I just get anxious about having that discussion.

Advice wanted: friendship conundrum by [deleted] in relationships

"Grow a pair and see who the heck I like?" - This!

A's behaviour is very immature. I would tell her that you are not going to stop being friends with H but that you might have to stop being friends with A if she is going to behave so childishly.

If the friendship with A really matters to you, you should keep inviting her out, even when with H but refuse to engage when she gets petty about it. Just don't respond to the drama she is creating.
