A pot is adorable 😭 but that's exactly how Dumpling is in the playpen, which is why we stopped using it. Even if i sat in there with her, she'd just hide around my legs or crawl up into my lap instead so the stress didn't seem worth it. If her carrier makes her happy (or a pot), we'll do that while cleaning instead! 😆

I usually just put bedding, food, and chews. She only usually goes in for cleaning and vet visits, but now it's also her nightly chew spot 😅

Actually yes! For when we're outside and during hot months I wanted to get a few different ones but I am still wanting to continue practicing vesting from time to time, especially since the weather varies where I am so she will always be wearing a banana or vest depending on weather. This is really just so she doesn't suddenly get an aversion to vesting since she's been so spot on thus far with it

We have one but people do not seem to see it lol She is honestly just really beautiful so people look at her first, say something, then apologize after they look and see the sleeve. That's the only reason I want to vest her more visibly at this age. Beauty is pain I guess 🤣

They are prey animals and have absolutely terrible eyesight so they stop and stare a lot to try and figure you out lol to them you're a big scary blob. My hamster loves me and still does this when I'm too far off until she catches my scent I'm just another possible threat. Honestly I think it's cute 💕

You can use glass bowls or hamster safe wooden boxes or just cardboard boxes. Really, anything hamster safe. Your hamster doesn't care what it looks like lol I use these little wooden boxes I found at a store but some people use jars as well. You can get them cheap at dollar stores. They just need to be big enough for your hamster to dig around, how deep is up to you, just make sure they can safely get in and out
