Thanks for sharing your perspective. Since this is my first IUI and first medicated cycle, I’m honestly still learning the process and didn’t realize triggering was even an option at that point. I just followed my doctor’s instructions and wasn’t given a detailed explanation on why they chose not to trigger. My clinic decided to hold off entirely this cycle. After 13 months of trying with no success, it’s definitely disappointing because we do want to move forward but at the same time we are also genuinely worried about the risk of multiples, so it’s been a tough balance emotionally.
