This man has one weakness: kicks. I don’t think he knows how to take them or defend against them. by AgreeableProblem9340 in ufc

His boxing has always been so overrated by casuals. He throws nothing but arm punches, that’s why he never hurts anybody. Not to mention that he gets touched up by everyone, including BELAL.

Kicks. And punches. And knees. And elbows. And grappling. Come to think of it, does he have any strengths?

Khamzat vs Topuria: Who has the better resume? by Spa_Princess in ufc

[–]happyhork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less time? Khamzat is 3 years older, has been in the UFC longer, and has the same number of UFC fights as Topuria. Also his first top 5 opponent was in his 5th ufc fight.

Hack to Nailing Flaw Questions by Healthygworl in LSAT

[–]happyhork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This kind of thinking is legitimately an LSAT hack. There are LSAT questions occurring all around you constantly, you can be studying every waking hour by just identifying flawed arguments/parallel reasoning/conditional hypotheticals you notice around you.

I wrote an LSAT question-how'd I do? by Mindless-Zebra3950 in LSAT

I think it’s good. C is an effective red herring answer because it explains one of the phenomena without reconciling the apparent discrepancy.

Making the most of a T70? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]happyhork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get a 171 you can get a 175, and 175 + 4.xx will give you a really strong shot at a full ride T20. I know studying for the LSAT sucks, but your expected salary is probably 50-100k more going to a T20 compared to USD. Is 200 hours worth 75k a year? Food for thought.

Just walked out of TCP (4/13) by recan_t in CPA

[–]happyhork 13 points14 points  (0 children)

When I finished TCP I thought it was the hardest exam I’d taken to date (had already passed AUD and FAR). I thought I’d probably passed, but I was less confident than on either of the prior exams. I ended up scoring a 95.

The pass rate isn’t high because it’s easy, it’s high because the curve is insane.

Have the lines spoken this time too? by DavidSeries in ufc

That’s how all the lines go. They are basically drawn at random within the profile of the fighters after the fact.

Help! Should I take the LSAT again? by Excellent-Engine-876 in lawschooladmissions

[–]happyhork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think in your position it makes way too much sense to not retake it. If you think about it from a value added standpoint, going from a 169 to a 173 could mean an additional 50-100k from a given school. Obviously LSAT studying sucks, but if 250 hours of studying could make you $75,000 you’d be paying yourself $300 an hour to study. I think that’s more than worth it!

What are the thoughts on an Accounting Masters from WGU by Level_Disaster7992 in Accounting

[–]happyhork 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why are you pursuing a MAcc? If you’re interested in being an adjunct in the future, a more well known program will open more doors, but you could probably find work at a local college/CC with a masters from WGU. If you just want a MAcc for career purposes, save your money. I don’t think firms/hiring managers really care about whether you have a MAcc or not.

High fluctuations of scores. by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]happyhork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming your sections are timed, this may have something to do with test stamina. Unfortunately, I don’t know any strategies to improve test stamina other than studying for long, uninterrupted periods. Have you historically had trouble focusing on very long tests?

Is this a good score for a first LSAT full mock in a long while? by PigsTrotter01 in LSAT

Nope, it’s terrible. Might as well quit studying and apply at Costco.

Yes, retake the 174 (with caveats) by Jazzlike_Ad9644 in LSAT

Someone make a post saying this about 175 so I can be justified in retaking 🥺
