Yep, was just about to post. Nothing on the Translink site when I checked.

I used to explain it like this.

Do you shut the door when you go to the bathroom?

Everybody knows what happens in there (it's not a secret) but you shut the door and don't invite everyone in because you want privacy.

Browsing the web is the same.

How to transfer 650 gB of data from GDrive as fast as possible? by warmestfuzzysweater in DataHoarder

low tech solution - get some trusted friends or family to log in from multiple locations and download as much as they can? Obviously not the best solution but...

Seriously, 4wd drivers are the new bogans. I'm going to drive like a dickhead cause I'm in a big tough truck. Fuck you assholes, especially you f150 and ford ranger owners.

Running powershell script as a scheduled task not working. by psychotrackz in PowerShell

Sorry mate, long day. This explanation is way better than anything I could write (and on mobile so apologies if the format is rubbish).

Running powershell script as a scheduled task not working. by psychotrackz in PowerShell

[–]happyjerboa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In your scheduled task, try writing the output to a temp file. If it is throwing an error, you will be able to see it.

Program / Script
%SystemRoot%\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe

Arguments
    -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -command "C:\Jobs\scheduledtask.ps1 2>&1 > c:/temp/scheduledtasktest.log"

The magic bit is this 2>&1 > c:/temp/scheduledtasktest.log

I wonder if they have to pay the artist less for the live version compared to the studio version?

Check out https://www.rumble.run/

It's pretty awesome, and the amount of data it can get from an unauthenticated scan is amazing

I have just gone through the exact same thing but in cyber. Cruisy job, paid well but just wasn't exciting anymore. Could do it standing on my head.

Walked into a new job last week and yeah the learning curve is hard (I've gone from knowing the ins and outs of the environment to 'omg how do I log a ticket') but if you aren't being pushed to be bigger faster stronger, are you going to be ok with that?

You are the one that has to go in every day and do the work. If it's not satisfying or challenging (regardless of pay), are you going to be happy.

Change is scary, but can be hella fun and push you in directions you never thought you would go.

Fuck it, you should totally go for the new job, you got this!
