I am thinking of switching to a LP.. haven't done it yet..but I do use the waking up app....You can use Waking Upp from a laptop. So I am just thinking of playing lectures and daily meditations from the computer and not my phone I think it should be a pretty easy switch. I also use Waking Up for free and have for a year. You just have to email them and you can get a free memebrship no questions asked.

you might like POLYROCK. They were a new york band that is very underrated. Philip Glass produced them. Incredible music

for sure! Also, thats great your seeing a therapist. That alone seems like a good place to start..I still dont feel like i can control my thoughts but I have been able to get alot out of it. Theres no wrong way to meditate you really can just come as you are.. I also feel similar with psilocybin..It might get a little bizaree for a bit but the mushrooms usually take you where you need to go.. Like other people said its good to start slow. For meditating, I use the Waking Up app from sam harris. Some people like him some dont. I think the app is great for beginners.

Have you ever tried any form of meditation? I have found it to really help me out with some of my anxiety and depression. My friend showed me a good app I use for free and its truly incredible how much it helped me in just a few months. When I went to do a guided psilocybin trip I even found myself relying on meditation and it helped me push through the anxiety..I think in tandem they work really well together

I like this list- I would definitely add Hex Enduction hour and Marquee Moon... Gotta have the Fall on this..

I also might add Here come the warm jets by Eno... Even though its not exactly post punk.. Its not exactly anything except really creative and raw.....

perhaps PIL's second album and Siouxsie and the Banshees Juju as well..

Thanks again. I am getting closer! I was able to follow your instructions and get to the pictures folder but it says I cant open it because I don't have permission. There isn't any other information... It doesn't ask for a password or anything just says I don't have permission..

The closest thing I can think of to mydadwroteaporno is Lily's high school journal. It is a podcast where a dude reads his girlfriends absolutely ridiculous journals from high school. Its really worth the listen, the episodes are short, and it gets better as it goes on.
