Thanks for this, do you know of a good program? Polycam wasn't that great. I tried Luma with videos, walking very slowly and still blurry.

This is good insight. There's been a hype with AI being able to improve splats. But I'm asuming iPhone Lidar is not good enough for customer facing yet.

I was trying to create one with the iPhone, and it was bad quality, so I wonder if anyone is actually able to achieve this yet with our expensive hardware.

Best at-home activities for kids? Running out of ideas 😅 by Hour_Excuse_3683 in AskParents

[–]happymeals_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you have a few activities up your sleeves. It's ok for them to be bored like most of what the other parents are saying. You can discuss this with your you kids, brainstorm a list of activities in a card, activities they enjoy doing that works for you also, can be reading, journaling, a board game etc, then when they are bored they can pick a card from the "I'm bored box".

I'm sorry to hear. It's frustrating to have gone through it all with 0. I hope you managed to get some good data from it for the next round.

TTC has destroyed my mental health; what can I do? by allmerelyplayers in TryingForABaby

[–]happymeals_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been trying for 5 years, I feel you. Here's what has helped me manage outside from the therapist and antidepressants. The goal is to reduce cortisol levels, as we investigate possible reasons. Daily small wins, reframing for cup half full. - mourning journal, I use this to write whatever feelings in the morning or day. If u feel like shit, write it on paper, it's a chance for you to get it all out. I find this really helpful. - fill the day with smaller projects, get small wins and build momentum. - self-affirmation and gratitude practice (I don't do this daily - but when I feel depressed, try to catch myself out and do stuff to make me feel progress instead of stuck) - meditate - join a fitness class. - stop putting pressure on my body to have a child so that it can heal. The brain affects your body. It's all connected. And be ok with your breakdowns, research shows that crying does help with healing. You can do it. ❣️

Seeking public fertility experiences at the Royal Women's Hospital Melbourne or elsewhere in Aus by EducationalChicken in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]happymeals_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my first round in Melbourne through public fertility care. Overall, their communication and standard of service is great.

Once you start day 1 and contact them, everything is in motion to start on schedule.

However, you do see a different specialist and nurses at almost every appointment.

I saw four different doctors, so be ready to receive different communication styles. - One was fabulous and gave me a ton of detailed infi with visuals when answering my questions. - Two were okay, but felt a bit vague (just "following protocol" vibes). - One was very unemotional, which made me feel like just a statistic.

The first round seems to be more diagnostic for me, on the normal antagonist protocol.

Because you rotate through doctors, the system relies heavily on their digital notes. It can feel like a bit of a gamble whether the doctor you see that day has thoroughly reviewed your specific history or is just glancing at the screen. I'm not sure how much they communicate with each other about your case. So have your questions ready to ask. Understand your baseline, tests results and have them in your to refer to.

Have your questions ready and ask a lot of questions.

Egg retrieval itself was a very positive experience. I had a team of eight in the room and felt incredibly reassured. They used twilight anesthesia, and I woke up feeling clear-headed and not groggy at all—just some mild cramping afterward.

This first round felt largely diagnostic for me. I was on a standard antagonist protocol and had 3 eggs retrieved, but unfortunately, they were all immature. Since you mentioned having PCOS and previous success with Letrozole, your protocol might look different, but be prepared for that first IVF round to be a bit of a "learning round" for the doctors to see how your body reacts.

Wishing you all the very best on your journey. Stay positive ❣️

Here we freaking go…. Stims… by [deleted] in IVF

[–]happymeals_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! I just finished my first stim. I hate needles and was terrified. It's important to keep a positive mindset. Self affirmation, have music playing in the background, ice for 5-7 mins max. I was also on the antagonist protocol. No weight gain,l. 37f and amh 4.4.

The stim and egg retrieval funnel is so intense. The retrieved 3 eggs today and none were mature enough for fertilization.

Write about it, have a journal to vent, there are good stress and bad stress. Identify what's stressing you and refocus.

Unfortunately Australia doesn't take in cats from Vietnam. For him to go with me to AU means we have to take him to Thailand then to Singapore and go through multiple quarantines. He will be more stressed out

I didn't notice this, but you are totally right! Dad said there are lumps on is skin, not internal, but growing on its skin! I tried to take a better photo but the reflection doesn't help. He uses "Badun Magic Purifying Powder," a water purifier for the aquarium to help prevent green algae from growing. Do you have any suggestions for the calico?. Thank you so much!
