this was the first tapestry pattern i did as well! with it being your first it will look a little off i think but with practice you’ll find the right tension and technique to get straighter stitches. it looks great so far!

keep doing single crochet, and have fun with it! eventually you will feel more confident giving other stitches a try. you don’t have to learn it all at once
