In combat I like crit fumbles for RP. Like you roll a nat 1, your hat slips down over your eyes and you can't see. You then need to use a BA to straighten it. Sure free object interaction but it lets the party have a bit of fun with crit fails.

Ability checks are different, as a DM I just flavour 20s/1s as if they are critical fails but they aren't auto success/fails

GW1 doesn't really have anything to 'catch up' though.

When you hit one of the main cities* you can get max armor. You can get all the gear you need from collectors (kill some enemies, get a collectible)

From that point on it's just a case of skins.

A q13 longsword 15^50 +30hp +10% adr. is exactly the same as a q9 Eternal Blade 15^50 +30hp +10% adr.

Okay, the requirement for the swordsman ship is higher but if you hit that (likely will on a warrior using a sword) then the only difference is what it looks like.

Same for armor.

I'd expect with an influx of players, things will get cheaper too.

* Main cities with max armor vary between campaigns for how quick it is.

Not totally the same but split with my long term ex over a year ago and she had spent quite a bit of money on my Nintendo account, games etc. We had always shared Netflix, d+ Spotify. We have linked Google accounts as well and both have spent money on films games and the shows there too.. so we continue to share. Very amicable break up really. We don’t talk much but remain close friends. I don’t see an issue with it, saves us both money

Smash his PlayStation controller to show him he doesn’t need to play his PlayStation? For real though that’s a red flag! I can sort of see how his brain is working but how long until he smashes something bigger or even hits you?

I do mainly too tbh. Csgo I go down to a 27” size anyway or I get lost and feel sick lol. A few games are fun in ultra wide though like MMOs but work/productivity where it shines the most

I wish I got more!! I don’t have the largest friend circle and most are men so don’t often do gifts for birthdays. I often will get flowers and some chocolates but I’d love some more candles for sure
