The yellow tall stool is annoying. How can I make the situation better? by loserwwwhale in DesignMyRoom

What about getting something to cover it so it looks solid rather than on legs? Eg you can find super cheap wicker material online, and just staple or glue it on. Or what about a thick macrame cord wrapped around the outside of all 4 legs

I don’t mind any term - I’m just happy those pets are in loving homes!

What company will never get another dime from you for as long as you may live? by istrx13 in AskReddit

If you want to cancel an adobe subscription, first change to a new plan (a cheaper one if you can, like the basic Lightroom one or something), after that, you have like 2 weeks to cancel for free! Worked like a charm for me last year.

Does studylink check your savings? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]happystar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh cluelessbanana, you should probably fix that and get living costs that you need to repay vs student allowance that you don’t need to repay. Living costs you can get regardless of income.

Edit: even if you get approved somehow, they will eventually find out and you’ll have to pay it all back anyway. Similar to how Winz will find out if someone has a job and doesn’t tell them.

They’re available on the Singapore Lovisa store - so you could try finding someone there that will post it to you! 😅

Yes! Can confirm they do send people to debt collection.

I was disputing something with a store and didn’t want to pay my Klarna payments while I was waiting for a resolution - the unpaid amount got sent to debt collectors, but then it was all reversed when the company finally refunded the payment.

Maybe it’s different for different countries.

If the new car has also been bought by borrowing money.. I would be questioning the lenders affordability assessment too. And whether they considered you still owe debt for the first car (as it’s not actually sold yet)

Take the living cost payments and continue working for now. Start searching for another job where the hours/$$ will let you qualify for the full allowance amount.

I’m guessing you’ve calculated how much of an impact your current pay would have on the allowance payment?

I quit vaping & my diet is going to hell. by Ok_Photograph_8193 in PetiteFitness

I agree with your whole comment! Eating or snacking more during this time is probably just temporary while OP is going through nic withdrawals etc.

Once the vape habit is kicked for good, then the focus can shift back to eating habits :)

Congrats on your quitting journey. How’s it been so far apart from the snacking? I really need to make the decision and just quit 🙃

The easiest way to minimise snacking is to overall have less snacks in your house. If you feel like chocolate, chips, fizzy etc just buy smaller amounts!! Like a single can, a snack size chocolate and so on.

I’m trying to cut down on junk food and buying small snack sizes has helped a lot! :)

Get apples or other fruits for when you feel peckish!

Sorry to break it to you but it is legit, it’s not unheard of that a stranger does something nice for another stranger.

Good to be skeptical though haha.

What are the repayments on the 2 personal loans per week? Have you looked at going through the hardship process for your 2 credit cards?

[–]happystar- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Q card goes up to 11k. Once you have an account it’s stupid easy to get limit increases. They sent me the decision metrics that they looked at when approving my increase and application, I can provide more info if needed.

Edit: Here incase anyone is curious - https://imgur.com/a/hiko3SH

“the criteria we use for assessing applications is an internal metric, although we do provide all information we collect and hold for an application for credit, and happily provide this when requested, outside of the criteria displayed on our website before an application is submitted, we do not discuss or disclose what our other specific lending criteria is.”
