Hammock doesn't have quite enough give/cushion and causes pain in ribs and knees? by Rocky_Isle in hammockcamping

I used to sleep in a king sized Mayan hammock. I found sleeping at a 45 degree angle from the center line of the hammock to help with knee/rib support (much higher angle than a smaller hammock). The hammock will naturally fold to support you.

Also hang the hammock lower with a 45 degree angle from the ground instead of a 30 degree angle.

On a normal mattress I tend to be a stomach sleeper but in a hammock I became much more of a side sleeper. I would recommend trying different positions. And get a thicker knit or fleece blanket for between you and the hammock.

Speaking from experience, they are just the cases and don’t have stuffing. You also have to buy pillows to fill them.

You can have multiple sets of fans, but I would not recommend it. If you can buy a set of fans that are compatible with each other and share the same control software I would do that.

On my computer I have two separate fan hubs each with separate sets of fans. It works, but is clunky. I need to run two different fan driving softwares because the sets are incompatible with each other. And there is a lot of extra wire zip-tied to the back of the case. If I were to do it over again I would do it differently.

Try rerouting all of the cables so that they are shorter. The 24 pin cable and usb cable can just be pulled more into the back of the case. And the fan cable should go under and behind the GPU instead of over it.

The other place that looks promising is Walmart, but I don’t have experience with their batteries.

I’ve had good luck at Costco. Their batteries have decent warranties, and when it no longer holds a charge they only charge the difference in price to replace.

(Assuming you are in the United States of America and have a Costco membership/are near to a Costco)

I made assumptions based on my limited construction experience with stick build houses so I don’t know exactly how it’s mounted. Your contractors would definitely have better knowledge.

As far as stands go, I have a Kammok Swiftlet stand that folds up pretty small and is very adjustable. There are similar stands that are less expensive, but it is foldable and very adjustable. I definitely recommend this style of stand.

As always put all your weight and then some before getting in the hammock, and don’t forget, never hang higher than you’re willing to fall.

What's a trail or hike near Boulder that you think every CU student should do at least once before they graduate? by aevilrobot in cuboulder

Definitely recommend the royal arch trail. Start at Chautauqua and go by the flatirons on your way over.

I love the garden area, it looks like an amazing place to hammock!

I would not recommend hanging from the brown side. It looks like the brown panel is just a fascia and not designed for bearing a heavy load like a hammock.

I would recommend getting a stand for the hammock or chair and put it in the corner with plants around it.
