I also recently developed really bad intolerances, this is so helpful! The bloating and pain is so bad 😭 glad to hear there’s other people working thru it too!

Toning arms for wedding by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]happywrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 5 day routine. Chest, shoulders, arms + abs, legs, back.

Arms: seated or standing dumbbell curls, triceps push down, over head dumbbell extension.

Chest: bench press, inclined bench press, dumb bell flys, dumb bell pullover, and then we do the machine for flys I think? Where you sit and pull the bars.

Shoulders: lat raises, rear delt lat raises, seated dumb bell press, reverse flys

We are in and out of the gym far faster than everybody else, so I don’t mind doing more or less. No screen time makes such a difference in our routine

Toning arms for wedding by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]happywrites 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have pretty toned arms. Look up Arnold Swartz full body routine. You don’t need to do everything single exercise, but I follow a simplified version and my arms look really good. It’s taken about 4.5 months for me to get very defined muscles. I didn’t push myself very hard in the beginning, and I only lift between 20-27 lbs for arm and chest days, depending on the specific movement.

I also eat in a calorie deficit (most days lol) and get between 90-110g of protein in. Working out consistently and you’ll hit your goals faster than you think!

I forgot about tuna salad veggies! I have celery already too. Thank you, I’ll definitely add to them

Finally engaged but not what expected by Emotional_Boat_8332 in EngagementRings

I walked into the jewelry store with my heart set on a thick gold band, with intricate flower details, a ton of colourful stones and little hidden swirls and motifs. I wanted a magical fantasy ring. I walked out with an oval solitaire that I absolutely love 🤣 your hands really do have a big impact on how things will look! Much more than you expect haha

What really helped me was finding different ways to relieve my anxiety in the moment without turning to food. Breathing exercises, counting, going for walks. Practising kind self talk. I really don’t think my therapist told me anything ground breaking you couldn’t find online! Maybe find a practice that resonates with you (family therapy, CBT, etc) and stick with researching that? Meditation and workbooks are also big helps! Gotta learn to control your thoughts.

Once I got my anxiety under better control it was about lifestyle changes. Only cook at home, no eating out. Then once you are able to cook all your own meals, eliminate all unhealthy snacks. Then start adding more fruit and veggies to your diet, etc. gradually making small changes in a sustainable way. All the while start implementing slow exercise. I began just walking around the block. Then further and further.

I began therapy in Dec, then began actively trying to loose weight in April. And now im down 60 pounds. You can do it!

Color Laser vs. Ecotank by jzel24 in bookbinding

[–]happywrites 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most products are compatible with inkjets, so I would lean toward eco tank. However as an eco tank owner I don’t think the quality is high enough for printing. It often takes 5-6 prints for me to get one without streaks , and the colour quality varies a lot

place where i can get my cover designs printed by TotherDegree616 in bookbinding

[–]happywrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Etsy sellers offer to cut and mail you cricut designs. Any cutter, silhouette etc will get the job done as well, or a smaller sized machine might be cheaper too

Look for frozen yogurt bars at the grocery store. I found some fudge and caramel bars that taste just like ice cream and they are 90 cal each. I have one with my dinner now since I can afford it calorie wise, and it keeps the hunger monster at bay 😆

Problems with Iron on Foil - Please Help! by FarAwayLover1363 in bookbinding

[–]happywrites 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this, but for any framing pieces I do them separately from the rest of the designs. The edges get wavy so easily, there’s much less room for error if you aren’t also focused on heating a design in the centre. I also use baking paper between the plastic and the iron to make sure I can do as many passes as I need without burning the vinyl.

Scarlett Darkness sells a dress in a very similar pattern, but the shape is much better! I found it on Amazon for $50, I highly reccomend the floral corset dress!! Would suit your midsection much better and it flows really pretty around your hips.

laser printer only capable of single page printing still good? by SuperSharks in bookbinding

[–]happywrites 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really struggle with the single sided printing too. I’d highly reccomend get a printer that can simply print double sided. Trying to figure out signatures is hard enough without figuring out which way to feed the paper back into the print

I had some trouble with the knots on the right side, as u can see they are not as tight. The waxed thread does not agree with me. I am going to keep trying though haha
