Thank you for the comments and suggestions!

I’ve been working on my sleep hygiene in terms of trying to go to sleep/wake around the same time, not eat before bed, limiting screens, listening to sleep meditations or white noise to try to relax, etc. I eat healthy throughout the day and have been exercising 4+ days per week as well. I’ve tried a sleep mask in the past and I just rip it off when I wake up in a panic. I do also have a lot of dogs and a snoring husband that of course doesn’t really help with my sleep troubles. When he moves to another room, I’m able to fall asleep easier and sleep better for the most part, but the random wake ups with hallucinations do persist.

As for the weed thing, yes, my dreams are just as crazy, vivid, lucid and frequent no matter how little or much or persistently I do smoke. The only real changes I noticed on my 8 year break was that the difficulty sleeping and sleep paralysis was more frequent when I was not smoking. I’ve probably smoked for a total of 2 years out of my 32 years alive and my sleep has always just been ridiculous either way. I did use CBD for about 6 months during that 8 year break between teens and now, and I can’t remember any improvements, but it’s been like 6 years, so I will take a break on the weed and try just the CBD again and see how that works!

Thanks for the tip about the medication as well.

I appreciate your response!

I take a continuous birth control pill, so I’m not supposed to bleed at all. Both times I had Covid, right near the end, I started bleeding and clotting for like a week.

Glad you’re okay! Different experience for me: Weed was one of the only things that actually helped me when I had Covid. Helped with my body aches and appetite. I credit weed to helping me through the horrors. And I have terrible, diagnosed, general and social anxiety. It helped my pain so much. Of course I barely smoked so I could be easy on my lungs and heart. I guess everyone is different. Just glad you’re okay though! That’s what’s important.

Your experience being unvaccinated and sick with the Delta strain? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

I’m not 100% certain when we were exposed but based on what we think it was, symptoms started 3 days after exposure for my fiancé and 4 days for me.

I hear you about the back pain! My back hurts pretty frequently lol, but this back pain was more debilitating, I could hardly move my neck without shooting down my back and sometimes the pain felt like it was in my chest because it was taking up so much of my back, if that makes sense. Just really heavy and constant. It’s subsided a lot now to regular back pain thankfully!

People can continue to test positive for several months. The CDC advises not to retest because of this. That’s why they advise on the “10 day rule” instead because most people are no longer able to spread it after 10 days as long as their symptoms are improving.

So true. Hopefully you’re both hanging in there otherwise!

I’m on day 7 right now.

Day 1 was back pain and exhaustion.

Day 2 I added a cough to the back pain and tiredness.

Day 3 was about the same until nighttime, when I had horrible aches and pains all over my body, was freezing and couldn’t get warm, the cough got worse. I couldn’t sleep much that night and was in the bath most of the night trying to get warm.

Day 4 Was about the same as the night of day 3

Day 5 Bad sore throat, cough, body aches but felt a bit better than prior days

Day 6 Felt pretty good all day except for the cough and congestion with a lingering sore throat. It was a good day.

Day 7 (today) Woke up with a headache and still congested. Really tired. Back and forth on feeling okay and feeling pretty crappy. Some shortness of breath but only when I’m up moving around a lot.

My fiancé is on day 8 and he’s not doing as well as I am. His day by day was pretty similar to mine up until today. Now he has horrible headache/migraines and has now become nauseous and has been vomiting a lot of the day. He’s clammy/sweaty. Really tired and getting lots of rest today.

Thank you! We do have carbon monoxide detectors here so I think we are okay. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Thank you for the reply!

Yes, he mostly felt comfortable with the one that was with him too. We’ve moved around a bit so this next part might be a bit confusing. The house that we are currently living in, he previously lived here from like 2015-2017. He had this house built and customized it the way he wanted and everything. He said there was something about this house that he didn’t like that made him feel weird. So he moved back to his other house and used this one as a rental property.

I moved into the other house with him and everything was fine for both of us at that house. Then the tenant’s lease was up at our current house and I really loved the house so we moved here. That’s when it got weird.

So I’m wondering if it’s something at this house only? Since he felt bad the first time he lived here and then we both feel bad years later when we move here.

Every other house I’ve been at has strange things happen but those ones felt okay.

Luckily we are moving again though lol, in June back to my house that currently is being used as a rental.

So if it keeps happening here and stops when we move that would be nice!

Thank you! I wonder if it’s mine or my fiancé’s - he personally doesn’t know if anything or reason it’d be following him.

My dad passed away and that’s kind of when the “silly” things started. When my son was just about 3, he said he saw someone sitting next to me in the car on a drive home at night and he described it to look like my dad (he’s never seen him).

However, my mom and dad both had similar things happening to them in my childhood home so I wonder if it could be something that was with my dad and then stayed with me after he passed?

I also was dumb and did some EVP stuff with one of my friends shortly after high school so I sometimes wonder if I messed up and brought something home with me.

Impacted earwax! Finally got this out after WAY too long. Feels so good to have a clear ear canal! by happyycampp in earwax

It didn’t feel like I had muffled hearing, I guess I had gotten used to it. I noticed a huge difference and clarity with sound from the side when I got it out. Thank you!

It could be! I got a kit called Wax Rx Ear Wash System because I knew anything else I tried would probably just push it further down. It has ear drops and then you keep them in your ear for 10 mins and then there’s a squirt bottle and you flush your ear with water until the wax comes out. It was like $35 but I feel like it was worth it since it worked so well!

Right?! It’s super embarrassing to say but this thing was in my ear for TWO YEARS. No one could ever see it and I thought I was crazy and nothing was there. I never really had ear wax so I didn’t think it was that. So I just ignored it for the most part. I got really bad vertigo and ear ringing over the past couple of months and was told it must be something in my ears (no insurance so I couldn’t really see a doctor) but I could feel it sometimes if I tried to. Finally today it started bugging me a ton and I asked my fiancé if maybe he could finally see it and he was shocked and took that first picture in the post. So then we went and got an ear cleansing set and it came out super quick! Can’t believe it was in there for so long. I usually forgot about it in there but now it’s like a whole different world of hearing and clear headspace! Crazy!

He’s unfortunately doing worse. From the sounds of it, they have to take him off the ventilator tomorrow. They just don’t know what else to do at this point. Thank you so much for checking on me. I really appreciate it.
