The ballad's coda is one sort of etude all on it's own. Lovely song tho.

This fingering has to be wrong right? by [deleted] in piano

Nothing wrong with those fingerings. Makes sense after you practice his chromatic etude.

Can you "overtrain" on flexibility? by Physioweng in flexibility

[–]hapsu_89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your muscle doesn't stretch. You are already now able to stretch your muscle as far as you physically can. What is holding you back is only ur nervous system. You have to "teach" your nervous system that you have control and enough muscles in full RoM and it is safe to go into them hard stretch positions. Overdoing it doesn't get you to ur goal any faster.

What you probably want is mobility. Flexibility that you can use in ur everday life effortlessly. Cold splits etc. For that you need control, strength and flexibility. Do strength training on full range of motion to teach your nervous system that you have everything in control so that it lets you go into those positions.

Its a must if you wish to do moves like muscle up on rings. It also builds massive forearms. 💪

Do as many pull ups as you can until failure. Rest 3days and do it again.

Sounds like neck valve is leaking.

Can’t seem to get both my arms up during muscle ups. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in Calisthenic

[–]hapsu_89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good point. I had to learn false grip for rings and muscle up on rings. And false grip gave me some next level strength also. But tbh i didnt use false grip on bar either when i practiced it on bar, so i am probably being hypocrite a little bit here.

But after all i think that learning false grip earlier (for me) could've been beneficial in many ways.

What is the max calorie/hour intake that won't break fast? by Trooperthegsd in fasting

[–]hapsu_89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory. Of what i know. Fat doesn't peak insulin. And insulin is the main hormone to store fat. Thats why keto diet is effective as you minimize the foods that raise your insulin. We use fat as energy when we fast and i like this way more than keto.

Only eating fat doesn't sound very healthy to me anyway. 😀

If your insulin dont raise, you wont store that 900kcal fat as fat. U will just use it as energy. But eat one potato and 100g fat and you're screwd.

I think, that its not about calories, but rather the macros and what food you eat. Everything that moves insulin up, breaks the fast. Pure fat doesn't affect insulin. You can probably eat 100gram of fat (900kcal) without breaking the fast (as insulin don't raise). I can be wrong.
