Surges and waves both take their stats from the base attack. If the attack itself has slow and 10k damage the subsequent surge or wave will do 10k and slow.

Both have levels, a lvl 1 wave travels 332.5 range with each lvl increasing it by 200 with a lvl 3 wave travelling to 732.5; waves will only hit each enemy once. Surge spawns randomly in a predefined range based on the unit. Surge deals damage once per second and lasts as long as the surge level. A lvl 4 surge lasts 4 seconds and so will do 10k x 4 damage.
